1st time experience. Our take away was 10 out of 10! We got sweet potato waffles and savory french toast. The food was amazing, the coffee was great, the service was superb, the atmosphere is stylish and cozy. Definitely will be back. Rooftop patio set to open come spring and they’re now serving dinner menu on the weekends. I highly recommend.

Food was amazing! I tried biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes and French toast! That gravy was homemade, you can tell by consistency and sausage chunks. The best part for me was the mixologist! I had a coffee drink that’s similar to an espresso martini but better! And one of the best French 75’s , I’ve ever had; perfectly balanced using a Japanese Gin! I will be back for brunch and to experience their dinner service.

I thought for the second time ever of me coming here that i would get good service and good food, but it was far the opposite.
for one, why do they not have any drinks on their pickup menu even though you pay before you come?
second, i call the store twice and no pickup, yet i text the owner on facebook and i get a reply right away saying they are busy. i go into the store, there’s two tables full. that’s it lol
maybe like 4-5 people at each one.
yet they couldn’t answer the phone at the main bar.
my Fried green tomato BLT came with zero flavor and way too much breading, which looks like chicken breading. i also subbed my side for soup and still got tots.
Ever since they moved to the nice side of town instead of the eastside they’ve been with terrible service. The owner is rude and talks bad about that side of town. What a great restaurant owner right? anyway, look at this disgustingness they called a fried green tomato. lol.

This place has been on my list and it was the perfect fall morning to sit outside with company. The atmosphere is really relaxing and the menu is incredible. Our waitress Lexi was very accommodating. I wish Lexington had more brunch spots like this one.

We made a stop at this very cute local place on our to the airport after a conference. The service was amazing. Our server was attentive, had great recommendations and was very helpful. The atmosphere was airy and the food was delicious. I hade the fried green tomato BLT and the mocha martini. Bother were amazing. I recommend making this an intentional stop when come to Lexington.

We dined here for the first time on Valentine’s night and every element of the 4 course menu could be one summarized with one syllable: eh.

The arancini balls were warm but not hot and had a sweet jam flavor that didn’t quite land. The harvest salad was fine and the tomato bisque had an unexpected texture. The main course was steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, and seafood linguine. The former was bland, especially the potatoes and green beans. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but was closer to medium. The seafood linguine should been renamed shrimp linguine. While the flavor was well-rounded, the description clearly stated “lump crab, sauteed shrimp, and scallops” so 2/3 of the plate was missing. Finally, the desserts – chocolate cake and lemon gateau – were both tasty but dry.

The ambience was going in the right direction but not quite complete. Literally. There were half assembled bar stools tucked in a corner and a power drill sitting on the bar top.

On the positive side, the staff was wonderful, very accommodating without being overbearing, and the cocktails were well prepared.

Overall, the menu description set a high bar that the plated food failed to meet. Nothing bad but nothing great – but at fine-dining prices, one expects the latter.

Need an easy place to go have brunch with a friend? This place is perfect.
Need a place to celebrate a milestone event like graduation, wedding, or birthday? This place is perfect.
Do you have no idea what you want or need in life, let alone for food? Again, this place is perfect. The staff will be able to provide you with recommendations and information that will allow you to leave the restaurant feeling like you just made the best food related choice of your life. They are also highly accommodating to food allergies and sensitivities. Each time I have left here I look forward to what I want to try next time.
Can’t decide between indoor eating, outdoor eating, or kind of in the middle? Again, they have you covered. Even the bathrooms are clean enough you could probably eat in them if you really wanted.
Afraid someone asked you to go out to a restaurant with them so that they could deliver bad news in a neutral place? The quiet and cozy atmosphere will instantly deter any sane human from creating a scene. This space is a quiet break from the noise of daily living. Great for getting a little work done for remote workers, students, and double-taskers. There is a parking lot right next to the building with free parking, so it is easy to get in and out.
I highly recommend giving this place a shot!

Very busy when we arrived. We’re seated at the counter right away, otherwise a 30 minute wait. Sat at the counter for 15 minutes until we asked the nice girl who seated us, who was supposed to serve us? As there were many people running around. Ten minutes later our server came to take our order. He gave us a choice of coffee or French press. David chose the French press, i ordered ice tea not sweet. David’s coffee order arrived, but he had no coffee cup to pour his french press in. We asked for a coffee cup from one of the employees stocking supplies behind the counter.. My tea was ice water with a little color of tea. When I could get our servers attention, as he was extremely busy, we asked if they could just warm the Coffee in a microwave as David had already added his cream and sugar. (His French press was cold) He said he would bring another french press set up.. So instead of bringing a French press, he brought a regular cup of very hot coffee. No worries, we are easy going. After a very long wait, our food arrived. By this time I was out of tea and didn’t ask for a refill. It would have been nice to have a drink with my meal. David said his biscuit and Gravy were good. I can’t say the same about my chicken and Waffle. Very small amount of syrup poured over the Waffle. No extra brought with the order. The chicken was in bite size over the Waffle which didn’t have any flavor and looked really dark, like over cooked. My order was okay. I guess I just expect something really tasty for $18. Over all, our experience was okay. As an older person, I think this place is more for the much younger crowd. As there were 3 tables with college age and 30ish something that seemed to think they had to talk as loud as they could to talk over each other. Noise level was off the chart. I wish this establishment all the success in this business.

From the moment you walk in, the service is warm, attentive, and genuinely kind—something that’s becoming rare these days. The staff clearly cares about what they do and about the people they serve, and it shows in every fun sincere interaction.

The food is consistently excellent—thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and made with pride. You can tell this is a business that puts heart into their work, not just checking boxes or rushing people through.

. They show up, they treat people well, and they deliver quality every time. Lexington is lucky to have places like this, and I’ll happily continue supporting them and recommending them to others.

Keep doing what you’re doing—you are appreciated more than you know!
Love the new location
