Quiet town with a lively bar on a Sunday. Family friendly and a great community feel. I was a passing outsider and every one was nice and happy to chat. Food looked good too but I didn’t have time.

While we were in Martinsdale, Mt to see the Bair Family Museum we got hungry for lunch… there are 3 eateries in town, but only one is open for lunch – The Mint Bar. What an iconic place… and the burgers were great! Everyone else there knew each other’s first name and were friendly with us too! Highly recommended if you are ever in the area.

I came to Martinsdale to discover where I pulled my first alert as a Missile launch officer in Judith Gap. I met some of the best people and John, who owns the bar is a super guy. I loved the atmosphere clientele and the food. Great selection of bourbon and I can’t say enough great things about this quaint town. I am sooooo glad I stayed at the local inn. Spoke to some very nice locals who tolerated a dumb southern redneck and made him feel right at home. If you get a chance. You must stop in and check out one of the best Irish pubs you will ever get an opportunity to visit!!!!
