Best sushi in the area. Fresh and unique rolls. The tuna chips appetizer is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It’s as good as any sushi I’ve had in Raleigh.

We had an amazing time and I cannot believe how great it was! Our chef’s name was Will and he was amazing! He did all kinds of tricks and conversed/ interacted with us and even the kids. We definitely will be requesting him again the next time we go. If you decide on going to this restaurant, I highly recommend you to request him; you are sure to have a great dining experience! Our service was just as great. Our servers name was Kimberly and she was very attentive which we really enjoyed as well.

This is the best hibachi and sushi place I’ve been to! My boyfriend and I have been multiple times and we always get great food and service. And if you get Joseph as your server consider yourself lucky!

Minoda’s has the best damn sushi from Morehead City to Havelock, and even to New Bern. I am consistently blown away by how excellent the sushi is every time I go. Last time I went they had tuna chips, so creative and delicious. They traditional plates a good too but I’m always in it for the rolls. Customer service is great too. I could eat in every week!

Sushi is always so fresh and tasty! Our waiter was a very pleasant and professional young man! The sushi menu has a lot of selections. I would highly recommend this for great hibachi with a fun filled show for the entire family!

If you love sushi, fresh delicious food and unbeatable service search no more. Jason the sushi master knows his products (which are unbelievably fresh) and has some impressive skills. Hibachi is also great. We would have a vacation again in the area just to eat there again!

Great chef and wait staff polite and respectful. Also very responsive to requests.waitress was on top of things and didn’t have to ask for refills on drinks or condiments. Great experience. Was so good I ate so much I got sick. But that’s my fault. Keep on with what you are doing.

I really wasn’t impressed. I looked up their menu online, and when I got there every thing I planned on ordering wasn’t on the menu. Then I ordered two rolls, they were super plain and not what I was expecting based on the description on the menu. It was the first time I had sushi at a decent restraunt where the nori was chewy and tough. My husband had the same issue, got something that was totally different than what he expected based on the description and ended up really not liking his meal.
The staff was very friendly, the interior was pretty, but the food was just bleh. I won’t be going back.

If I could leave 1/2 a star I would. Walked in and they told us the hibachi grill was closed but we could order and they would cook it in the kitchen. The 3 other tables around us walked in after we ordered, got their food paid, left and we still we still didn’t have our food. The waitress gave us 4 different excuses over the next hour and a half as to why we didn’t have our food. At this point the 4 of us and our 2 year old had had enough. So we told the waitress we were leaving and the manager said she would give us 15% off our 4 sushi rolls, edimame, and 2 sweet teas. it took another 10 minutes to bring out our check. Noting like paying $36 for appetizers and having to eat at a drive through with a screaming 2 year old.

They used to be outstanding although pricey but now they are “good” for the same price…….. 95.00 plus tip for 2 meals and 4 drinks with no show (the hibachi section is closed permanently) the service was good and timely, the quality of the food was the same but current preparation method left the filet not as juicy and succulent, same for the scallops and shrimp. No hibachi chef show and still the same price with food that is just “good”? Just not worth the price in our opinion, such a shame but we will not be back.
