Delicious, home-cooked local foods. Recommend the steak and onions special, as well as the Korean chicken.
Orders are cooked to order, so be prepared to wait. It’s better to get a table outside because the place doesn’t have air-conditioning. But the service and distress are exceptional. We’re happy to support this local business!!

After skydiving diving nearby, Minnie’s is the perfect place to refuel with Hawaiian comfort food. They are friendly, welcoming and awesome chefs. The food is fresh and fabulous with that special homemade touch!
Fresh catch of the day, ahi, was seated to perfection and the kalua pork sandwich was served with a scrumptious side of gravy!

Stopped by for a late lunch and tried the Korean chicken plate with potato salad. Chicken was freshly fried and was delicious. It was served on a bed of sprouts. The potato salad was very tasty. Like a combination macaroni and potato salad.

We stumbled on this place after hiking at Pololū Valley and are so glad we did! This was the best lunch we had on the island. Small no frills establishment with great local plate lunches. We had the Korean Chicken plate which was excellent!

What a pleasant surprise. Minnie’s is a small restaurant sitting just off a main road with patio dining and take-out. We stopped for a bite on our way to our next adventure. I had a seared ahi caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious. The ahi was perfectly cooked, buttery, and rich with flavor. Minnie was a sweetheart and made the experience even more pleasant. Minnie’s is a gem at the side of the road. 🙂

Stopped here with the family while out touring the island. Pork plate and Korean Chicken plate were crazy delicious. My youngest son had a burger which was also very good. They did a grilled cheese for my other son who is a vegetarian. I highly recommend this place.

We stopped here on the way to the look out for Pololu Valley. There were only a few restaurants listed on the way and we decided to stop here. The portions were large and delicious and the gravy was savory. As a tourist I also appreciated that it was a very short walk to see the statue of King Kamehameha.
