Fun times at Ming’s! The restaurant offers a wide range of dim sum and classic Chinese food (though I would mainly order dim sum here). We got all the staples and most of the dishes were quite tasty. I particularly enjoyed the beancurd, siumai, spareribs and chicken claws. Make sure to ask for the hot chili oil as well. The food also came pretty fast. This place can get quite crowded after opening so be ready for some wait time. This is always one of my go-to whenever I am in the area. Will return!

We came for the 10am Saturday dim sum. Got seated right away, but by the time we finished around 11am the place was packed. Everything was delicious and matched our expectation of a no frills dim sum experience. In addition to the typical dim sum dishes they also had some fancy options like the red rice shrimp rolls which was delicious and taste like rice roll, fried shrimp and youtiao in one perfect bite.

I have dined at Ming’s Seafood a couple of times, but yesterday I had the worst experience by far. We arrived around 10 AM when the restaurant wasn’t busy. However, the waiter was very rude and bumped into my chair at least ten times, despite my efforts to adjust my seating. They continued to push my chair with their carts, which was quite frustrating.

Additionally, the food was not good. It used to be acceptable, but the ingredients didn’t taste fresh at all. We also ordered the minion egg custard bun, which was a complete disappointment. Instead of what was advertised in the menu photo, we received a bun topped with seaweed. It didn’t resemble the dish at all. When we asked why the bun didn’t look the same, they simply said the cook didn’t have time to decorate it. Overall, it was truly disappointing.

I’ve been dining at Ming’s Seafood Restaurant for quite a few times , a dim sum establishment located in Malden. Given the significant Chinese population in the area, this restaurant has always been quite popular and busy.
Today, during the Memorial Day long weekend, the restaurant was particularly crowded. While most of our meal maintained the usual quality standards, we were disappointed with two specific dishes. One is the fried dough (youtiao) in the rice roll. The dough arrived as steamed rather than crispy as it should be, giving it an unappetizing soggy texture. Additionally, the pork congee with preserved egg was remarkably bland, lacking any distinctive flavor.
I suspect the kitchen may have been overwhelmed by the holiday rush, which could explain the decline in food quality. Unfortunately, the restroom conditions were also quite poor and in need of attention. A little extra effort in maintaining cleanliness would significantly improve the overall dining experience.
Unless we hear that these issues have been addressed, this may be our final visit to Ming’s Seafood Restaurant.

I stepped into this place with a craving for authentic dim sum, and it didn’t disappoint. The shrimp dumplings were plump and flavorful, and the fried tofu with shrimp paste was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff managed the bustling crowd efficiently. However, the wait time was longer than expected, and the spare ribs were a bit too oily for my taste. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely return for another round of dim sum delights.

We went for dim sum on July 4th. The place was crowded. Our food was good in general, but dim sum dishes took long time to be served. I thought they used to have carts before Covid, but now no more carts.

This is a very nice tea restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a wide variety of dishes. What stands out the most is the selection of Chinese snacks, each priced around $5 to $6, making it very affordable. You can try many different things, from classic dim sum to specialty stir-fries, with plenty of options to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a chance to savor traditional cuisine, this place is a great choice. For food lovers who enjoy tasting different flavors, this restaurant is truly a food paradise.

My general impression was positive overall. First they served loose leaf green tea in porcelain tea pot and cup. I ordered something I hadn’t tried before (white fish with some green vegetables). I asked the name of the vegetable but the waiter didn’t speak any English, I think, so didn’t understand probably. It looked like Bok choy but I wasn’t sure if it was. The plate was huge and filled up to top with a very generous serving of food. The food had a little taste to it but compared to the food I eat lacked spices and oil, but I think it is healthy food. I could only eat half of it and took home the remaining food ate the next day. The price for such amount was good! The tables were clean and the employees were friendly.

Solid dim sum place, four of us went for Saturday brunch. I am not a dim sum connoisseur, but I’ve had it a handful of times and always enjoy it. We ordered 9 dishes in total to share, including two desserts. Everything came out quickly, and the staff was very attentive. Every dish was attractive and tasty.

There were lots of families in evidence, and it got a little loud, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. At least on the weekends, it’s not the place for a quiet romantic meal, and that’s OK.

It was pouring rain when we visited, and there were little buckets at the door to store your umbrella in, which was a thoughtful touch.

The price was very reasonable. We got out for $85 including a generous tip, which I thought was a bargain.

Crazily good! Ordered 10 items and they were all amazing!!! They serve dim sum until 3:00, we got here at 2:45 and they still let us order it. Staffs are super nice and friendly(which is not very common at dim sum place lol.) XO sauce radish cake was insanely good, salty egg yolk bun is a must try too.
