Staff was great, multiple members tended to our party, everyone was friwndly. Food was great. Food was prepared and served fast, everything was very athletically pleasing. There were two sides of the restaurant one focused on Japanese side and one for Chinese side for the atmosphere. Will definitely come back when in town. We had sushi, appetizers, and Chinese dishes. The sauces, tea, and sake were all on point.

Been staying in Carson city to explore tahoe. Ming’s has been, by far, my favorite restaurant in the area. We decided to try the chinese side and were not disappointed. Everything was perfect. Highlights were salt and pepper chicken and shrimp chow fun. Next time I’m in town, I’ll try the sushi side. Service was fast and attentive.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had dinner on a whim and we are so glad that we came here! The food came quickly and the waitstaff was friendly.

I’ll start off by saying I’ll give 5 stars for sushi and chinese food! The pot stickers are to die for too! The food is the reason why we come to this establishment. The menu is a little confusing for dinner. In the selection choice a dinner plate for one you don’t get to select either chow mein or rice you only get rice but with the dinner special plate you get to choose between chow mein or rice or both. In general I feel like the staff was get us in and get us out and weren’t the friendliest. We had to remind the server a few times to get our sushi menu. Overall I really love this restaurant the food is great it maybe a little more on the pricier scale but you do get what you pay for! If you decide to get a plate and not the biggest eater split one with another person the portions are big. Our food was hot a fresh too!

Excellent Sushi! Wonderful attentive Sushi Chef. Artful, tasty, well played, quick service. Priced Right priced at $22 all you can eat. Atmosphere needs upscaling, more traditional decor needed. Best mood after dark.

I dined to go so it’s hard to judge service and atmosphere. But the food was good. It was nice to have a spicy Mongolian beef. I’ve had too many plain versions of it at other places. Little on the price of your side but it’s to be expected at a Chinese restaurant.

My friend suggested we go here for lunch (we live here locally) and I had never been before. The atmosphere is dingy and we didn’t feel welcomed to be there. The waiter barely spoke to us. We ordered two rolls each (4 in total) a la Carte. The sushi did come pretty quick which honestly made me feel like it was pre made and not fresh. My Cali roll was alright but my spicy tuna roll was horrendous. I only had two bites before deciding that it might make me sick because the cucumber was so old looking/tasting and the tuna had zero flavor. It was also brownish in color. Usually fresh raw tuna is a lot more pink/red. They gave us the bill and tried to charge us $50 for all you can eat!! I told them we only ordered a la carte, and it was still $35 for awful sushi. I’ve paid the same amount for really good sushi.

Let’s just say wow 8 dollars is not a lot for a fresh delicious shrimp and snow pea lunch. My husband got sushi and said it was amazing! Nice waiters as well.
