I don’t go to Ming’s for the atmosphere. I go because it is great food, the owners have always been fantastic, and that Hot & Sour soup is perfect with the weather is cold or you’re in need of some comfort. I love it. !! Be advised, there is no online ordering system attached to their business. The kwikmenu thing is not real!!

To start with, this place has the best pu-pu platter in the area, with New China up in Cullman as the second best.
Their Mongolian beef is the best Mongolian beef I have ever had anywhere. I have not had one that compared to what I have had here. Also, they are very tolerant of custom orders: I was not able to get any other restaurant to do a Mongolian beef with fried-breaded beef but this one. Just ask for “A Mongolian beef that is fried like your Orange Beef instead of sauteed.”
Their hot and sour soup is good. The egg foo yong is presented a little strange but tastes good.
The buffet isn’t really good. I haven’t ordered the noodles, but the ones from the buffet are slimy. Their sesame chicken isn’t worth it, and the breading doesn’t stick to the meat. Sizzling rice was boring.
It’s more good than bad.

Decent Chinese food option in Gardendale. Tried hot and sour soup (without sea food), chicken lo mein and sizzling chicken curry.
The soup was average at best in terms of taste and portion size. The lo mein and sizzling chicken curry was just ok, but the hot sauce elevated both the dish. With the hot sauce, I actually liked the lo mein. Felt the chicken curry was little slimy but taste good with the sauce.
The servers are nice and welcoming. Will visit again to try out other noodle dish and their signature dish like sweet and sour chicken/kun pao chicken.

I love this restaurant, I’ve never had a bad experience until yesterday 11-5-25..my mother in law and I done some shopping and wanted Chinese for lunch, we arrived at 12:30 for the buffet I noticed when I got my egg roll and dumplings there was not much food left..I ate my egg rolls and thought they would refill the buffet but when I returned to get my main entry they had only refilled the shrimp delight..we was so disappointed that this was all they were going to refill..it will be a long time before we return!!

This was my first time trying this restaurant. The food here was good. They are not currently offering dining in or buffet, only takeout. The prices are inexpensive to moderate depending on what is ordered. I’ve had better but I would recomend trying them. They may suit your fancy.
