Was passing through Valdosta on the way home from Florida and found Ming’s when looking for a spot to stop for dinner. The best places have the most unexpected appearances, and this gem is no exception. The walls could tell stories for ages whilst your meal is prepared. The lady at the front was extremely kind when taking our order and very soon after we had our food in hand. The chicken fried rice is some of, if not, the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was succulent, the egg crispy and flavorful. We received it pipping hot, yet scarfed it down despite the temperature. I’ll be sure to stop by every time I’m within 50 miles of this diamond in the rough. 12/10. God bless you Ming’s.

This place needs to be taken off Google. I went there and did not go in. The place was so rundown, I thought it was an abandoned building. I walked up to the entrance, peeped in and u turned it out of there. There was no one there and from what I saw it looked like a clutter mess. There is no entrance to step inside.

**CASH ONLY**TAKE OUT ONLY** This is not Americanized Chinese food. If you want greasy chicken lo mein, if you feel you have to put soy or duck sauce on your Chinese food, if you feel you can’t enjoy a book because the cover is too worn – this is not the place for you. There are diamonds in the kitchen of this rough ol’ building that I’ve been coming to for 40 years. You will get great authentic food here from a hard working couple and you will get it consistently. The prices have gone up over the years as inflation has gone up and it will cost a few more dollars than the other guys but that’s the cost of quality ingredients and good service. The food isn’t sitting under a heat lamp so be prepared to be patient – it will be worth it. I’d recommend the hot black tea while you wait!
Thank yall for your dedication and hard work all these years!

We tried it for the first time and were greatly disappointed! The food was disgusting! The hot and sour soup was just a cup of vinegar with a few mushrooms in it. Horrible! The beef and broccoli was just beef soup with some overcooked broccoli. The beef tasted rotten. The other dishes we got were just as bad . We could not eat it. That’s $50 down the drain. I should have known better when I saw the condition of the inside of the restaurant. Lesson learned!

DO NOT GO!!!
Chicken and veg
(Was chicken soup)
Beef and broccoli ( beef soup)
Shrimp and broccoli ( shrimp soup) tiny shrimp not regular size
Apparently this Chinese lady does not know to add cornstarch to thicken the sauce
And cost of $-16 $17 per plate is too high
I threw away my plate after one bite

I’ve never knew they open business until today. I thought that the building has been empty for long time….
I brought few Chinese friends today. Their foods were soooooooo delicious!!! My Chinese friends said that have been living in U.S. for few years, today’s dishes are best Chinese foods in U.S. so far. Because they are serving “truly” authentic Chinese dishes. We wanted to know how did they make the special chili sauces. But of course it was a secret.
We will be back there again tomorrow.

We’ve been going here for years. This is a Mom n Pop stop so if you’re expecting In and Out or Applebee’s, keep moving. For what they are, service is timely, Mama is ridiculously friendly and Pops is too. They always take really good care of us. Nothing on the menu is disappointing. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Be adventurous
