Service was good and food was too. Usually a great place but has been a while since we went to eat there and we saw a roach on our table, half way through the meal. That ended our lunch. We sat in a booth and the back of the seat was loose and kept moving. The bathroom smelled so bad that I had to cover my nose while in there. Was not clean at all. Told one of the owners about the roach and that she might want to spray around that area when I went to pay our tab ($78 for 4 people and 2 of us ordered only water) and she just stared at me for a while. Then after a couple of minutes the only thing she said to me was, “are you paying with a card?” She did not apologize or even acknowledge what I had told her. Our family will not be back, ever! What a disgrace.

Went after church on a Sunday. I was on a budget so I check buffet price online. On the actual website for this buffet it said Sunday lunch buffet 11.98 adult. This would have been overpriced for the quality of the food. The ticket was 17.50 a adult. This was over my budget. I ask the woman she said no not us and I explain the situation and suggest she update the online prices. She was very rude. She said they are the new owners. The food was truly sub par.

We used to drive 15 miles once a week to eat here. I do not think we will return. All the recipes have changed . The best thing I had today was hot & sour soup & Hubster said vanilla pudding was the best thing he had. I understand it’s under new ownership but WHY Change the recipes? ♀️. So sad for a neighborhood icon

My son and I visited for the first time today – all the food was hot and fresh, no complaints. If it’s always this was, this is easily the best Chinese buffet in the golden triangle. We will be going back for sure.

I’m not from Vidor, Tx. But we had some business here and someone recommended this place and we sure are glad that they did. It is buffet style but the food is cooked amazingly. My daughter and I travel the entire state of Texas for shows and we rate Chinese buffet places. This one is in our top 3. It is rare for me to review a Chinese buffet but this one deserves 5 stars. The pepper chicken and the egg rolls were spot on. They have this mildly spicy Cajun chicken that was really tasty and all the noodles were cooked to perfection and rice was perfect. Now price. We are from the Houston area where we pay about 16.99. For a buffet. This buffet was $14.99 but for the quality of the food I will pay and happily leave a nice tip for the friendly staff.

We went about 1-2 hrs before closing and paid $85.95 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers with 4 glasses of soda. My receipt says $85.95 but when we looked at our bank account this morning they charged us $103.14! Which is just over $17 and some cents! Why does my receipt says one thing and my bank another!?
They for the most part are very kind here, however when we went the food was not hot it was either like warm or just cold. Most of the food I was actually able to eat they wouldn’t refill. Everything else was to hard for me to eat.
My family and I loved this place but being charged a completely different price then my receipt says for food that wasn’t up to par and on my birthday of all days is sad. More then likely will NOT be going back to eat here again.

I went there at lunchtime on a weekday with small groups of customers. It should be busier than that. A lot of emptied seats. The food wasn’t hot or tasty, very bland for Chinese foods. I ate a little of everything, except for the missing Cajun foods. The sushi rolls were not rolled in small tubes and did not have enough rice vinegar in the rice. Sweat and Sour Chicken did not taste sweet or sour enough, it reminded me of the deli’s General Tso’s Chicken at Wal-Mart. The cheese pizza was small and very old, my teeth had to go into survival food mode as it broke down the stale cracker crust and kept chewing. The price was below $14 for one person.
The two waitresses and hostess were attentive and friendly. The lighting and decorations were quiet and calming to eat in without the busy outside traffic of a strip mall.
