Ming’s started in Atlanta in 1994 as a simple restaurant roasting whole pigs, ducks, and curating chinese charcuterie. Offering authentic cantonese roast BBQ to customers for nearly two decades, Ming’s has become a beloved staple of asian cuisine in Atlanta and has appeared in multiple publications like the AJC, creative loafing, etc. All roast meats are seasoned, prepared, and finished using traditional siu mei methods and in an open fire oven. Ming’s remains dedicated to create an authentic cantonese cuisine experience.

We had a very good lunch experience , while certain wait staff was not overly friendly ( which I never expected anyway ) she was pleasant enough and it was plenty good for me already . And I must point out too, their prices are very good !! I will return next time I visit .

They don’t have whole lot of option for drinks and pricey. charge $5 for any drink. This place is not Starbucks….Authentic Chinese BBQ. Always busy. That means the food is good and very reasonable price.

I haven’t been to Ming’s BBQ in 2 years due to bad service and because the food was extremely salty. Today I decided to give this place another chance. 6/04/2023 me my brother and mom came for lunch. A woman sat us at a table went and got the menu and tossed it on the table asked us our drink order left and came back with drinks. A couple walked in after us. They got their drink and their food order within 10mins. I’ve been sitting at the table for 30 mins now. Decided to give her 5 more minutes. She never came back. So we got up and left. After 2 years this place still has horrible service. We will never come back. We were just going to order rice plates and the place was empty. They had 2 groups of people who were just finishing up so I don’t understand why the service was slow or maybe they didn’t want to take care of us. They took care of the couple that came in after us immediately.

Came back here after the pandemic. I was excited to eat here again. The service was good. I was a little disappointed in the food though. The mapo tofu ( which I have been craving for) was so bland and way too much sauce. Salt and pepper tofu was probably cooked too fast so the seasoning was not evenly spread or something, making it super salty with some pieces and some barely had any taste. The Chinese broccoli was so hard like it was barely cooked and kind of bland too. Also ordered my favorite noodles with veggies. Again, very bland. The food actually looked very pleasing to the hungry eyes but didn’t taste as good for me this time. Maybe it was just a one time thing today.. maybe the chef didn’t feel good.. who knows cause this used to be one of my favorite restaurants since it’s close by. I don’t have to go all the way to Buford Hwy to Canton House to get my Chinese food. Hopefully it will taste better the next time I am back. Willing to try again

I really like the quail,very tasty and light sweet juicy. The beef chao fun is so so. The noodles is instant noodles,not fresh made,the beef…but the portion is huge compared to other places. Will come back to try other dishes.

A very generous amount food of any dish that you order . it’s authentic. Glad We found this place . Good customer service too . Most other restaurants uses Paper plate or styrofoam to serve. Ming Restaurant uses big proper plates to serve their patrons . This will be our new favorite spot to come eat every time we are in Atlanta area .

Been here a few times, Roast Duck is usuuaaaally good as are many of the dishes that I’ve tried. I like the veggie dishes and the fried rice dishes especially. Not bad at all. (Am taking away one star as I’ve had ‘tough’ Roast Duck once or twice).
