I have eaten at Ming’s twice in the last week. I am thrilled they are open for dine-in menu orders. There is finally good Chinese food in Houghton again. My most recent order included Crab Rangoons, Shrimp Lo Mein, and General Tsao’s Chicken with steamed rice. There’s a bit missing from each of the photos because we were hungry and wanted to taste the food as soon as it arrived. Delicious! And plenty for leftovers. I hope the buffet will also eventually return.

The orange chicken was the best orange chicken I’ve ever had. Excellent blend of sweet orange and spicy ginger. Rice was perfectly cooked. The crab rangoons and accompanying sauce was delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Food was terrible tasted old meet tasted like it was bad old meet. We got fried rice that tasted Old and burnt. We got the beef lo mane and the meet in that tasted like it was old. And we got the boneless spareribs and they looked and tasted like the meet was old. We also got general tows chicken and it was the only thing that tasted ok but it was not even spice my it was more like sweet chicken. I will not be going to this place again.

We did take out today, and it was my first visit here. No “In house” buffet at the current time, but food was fresh and delicious! The nice lady at the counter was pleasant when I picked up. Ordered crab rangoons and the house specialty “Dragon of the Sea” to split. Crab rangoons were a bit skimpy on crab, but again everything was hot and delicious! Would definitely order from here again!

I must say that their hot and sour soup was one of the top two I’ve had in my life! I give it a 10!!!! The sweet comes right away and the hot surprises you seconds later! Quality seems to be there!

They have good sauces. My husband and I have tried chicken dishes on more than one occasion and the meat is never very good. I’ve changed to ordering a vegetarian meal now which is delicious. I’ve never had a bad sauce there but they aren’t consistent between what is served when the same thing is ordered. I now order the Budist Delight, and depending on if we dine in vs to go, the sauce is different. This is kind of frustrating because I love the spicy sauce it comes with during my dine in experiences but dont like the sauce I’ve gotten with to go orders. If the chicken quality improved and there was consistency with their sauces, I would certainly give 5 stars. My husband does like their Mongolian beef, and says there is no problem with meat quality when he has ordered beef dishes, just chicken.

Rice wasn’t cooked enough, hard to chew. Chicken in garlic sauce had a sour/rancid taste. Sauce was just colored water. I’ve had this many times here and delicious all those times. This was easily the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. What’s happened??!!

Disgusting. That is the first adjective that comes to mind to describe this place. Just disgusting. The food is terrible. It seems like they use the same sauce for everything. The “fried” rice was terrible. I went with a party of four, and everybody ordered a different dish with different meats. Out of the four dishes, nobody could tell who’s was who’s. We couldn’t tell by the sauce OR the meat…. Everything tasted the same. Will never set foot in that place again.

When you eat inside they give you more food when you order out it’s less food like just stay with the same size whether you eat inside or out that’s a rip off.
