A delicious and delightful place to go on a date or with some good friends! The menu is easy to read, the sushi is fresh and tastyserved in an imagiative fashion, and the staff are friendly and punctual. You’ll want to return again to try more of their menu. The tables and booths have enough intimacy surroundings that keep distractions and other patrons at bay from your experience.

This place looks as though it hadn’t been clean in years. The restaurant was stink of urine. Had I visited the restroom before eating here, I would not have done so. The food was delicious I must say. Not too salty at all. The flavor was excellent. As well as the potion size. I would recommend this just don’t sit in there. If you’re a germaphobe like me

We love Akari, never had any problems before. Went to pickup through the drive thru tonight, and the food was ready 25 minutes later than they said. They forgot the yum yum sauce for the shrimp fried rice, but the rest of the food was good. Disappointed

This place is not Taste of Tokyo but the food here is as delicious. You get more bang for your buck here. It’s a must go to even if your not a sushi fan. Try this place out you will enjoy the food.

Yeah…..good place for sushi and hibachi. The service is very good especially for a Laplace restaurant. We enjoyed our sushi; LSU roll and the sushi dinner with a crawfish roll. Presentation is very good with flowers as decorative addition. Food is very good and it was valentine’s day. They offered each couple a gift which was very nice. First time dining in. We normally do take out.

Celebrated my friends birthday there and glad we choose this place. It was amazing Had the bag seafood boil and it comes with everything. We ate what we can and took the rest home. It was a lot of food. Definitely will come here more often.
