What a pleasant find this place was. A jem in the rough for sure. We were traveling through, I had to pee, and my husband was hungry, so I picked the next place up the road, and it just happened to be Mingo’s. I ordered the Zucchini planks for an appetizer, and I swear I got the whole Zucchini !! Definitely enough for two. Cooked to golden perfection, served with parmesean cheese. Delicious. My husband ordered one of the specials. A chicken bacon ranch hoagie. Omgoodness. It and the fries made up a huge portion of what my husband said was pure delight. He only managed to eat half, but he wasn’t willing to leave the other half behind, so that says something for him. I got the fish nugget meal, and again, I ate half and took half home. I am super picky about my coleslaw, and I swear I could have eaten just that it was so good !! Crisp and saucy, just like Mama made !!! The gentleman who waited on us, maybe the owner, but if not, certainly a man who takes pride in his job/establishment was great. Overall, I recommend this place 100%. Do not let the sketch/industrial area keep you from stopping in. It’s clean, spacious, and delightful. You will NOT be disappointed.

My spouse wanted to stop here. I found another restaurant nearby, on Google search. It said they were busier than usual. So I gave in to my spouse. I’m so glad he was so persistent! I ordered the birds nest, he ordered the Whiz. The orders were H U G E! When I asked about the potatoes, if they were cubed or sliced. The owner said they only do sliced potatoes. You can’t get that at most restaurants, they’re usually deep fried cubes! So I was impressed!! All the food was so good!!

Food is good but the service is so bad we will never return . You want to speak to people like they are stupid for asking about a menu item. You need to start over with new staff because they don’t kno how to act . We left and didn’t order after the way he was treating paying customers
