We thought it would be a good place to eat, but we were terribly disappointed. Everything is incredibly dirty, the food is horrible, and it looks like leftovers from the day before. I really don’t recommend it. The food is disgusting; I seriously hope the children don’t get sick.

Calling this place a buffet is generous. The food looked tired, tasted worse, and somehow managed to be both bland and questionable at the same time. Nothing was hot, fresh, or even remotely appetizing.
The atmosphere felt gloomy and neglected, like the building itself gave up years ago. The carpets were filthy, the dining area felt sticky, and the booth seating was literally duct taped together — which really makes you question what else is being held together with tape.
This wasn’t a meal, it was an experience in regret. Poor hygiene, zero pride, and food that shouldn’t be served to paying customers. Save your money, save your stomach, and eat literally anywhere else.

So I’ve just started back trying ming wah in Thomson I was mostly getting take out ordes. Tonight I took my son and grandson to eat they order from the buffet I ordered off the menu. The food from the buffet was dry from what my son tells me and it didn’t look appealing at all. When my food arrived it looked totally different from when I ordered take out. So when we asked for togo containers because I ordered off the menu tell my why the lady and some man came over and asked to look at our box mind you my son order some rice off the menu also. Just so they know we won’t be back.

Just no, trust me if you’re on I-20 just keep driving. Dilapidated building with nasty parking lot. The food that was actually on the bar and not empty was cold. Would not refill empty but kept saying they were. This place needs to be shut down!

Honestly, this place should be deep cleaned and inspected the food quality. The taste is weird as it was cooked long time ago and frozen for quite a while. Maybe the only fresh flavor came from the fortune cookies.

I wish I could leave a nice review because I do care about local businesses. But this was terrible. The food was not fresh, although it was hot, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we got food poisoning. Not much of a selection, there wasn’t a salad bar. The building is dilapidated and I wasn’t sure it was actually clean. The women’s bathroom might have been clean, but it was so old and everything in there was falling apart and so it seems dirty. The service was okay, nothing special.

The food was not good at all. The service was subpar. Their favorite time is when you are leaving. Several of them say thank you thank you in English/Chinese. They didn’t have a very popular choice, General Tso chicken. The air temperature was very warm. Couldn’t have even enjoyed if the food “had” tasted good. I used to eat there quite often during 2014-2017. During that time frame, the food was actually good, the fountain worked out front. Still not very cool in there in the summer, but because the food was good, we kept coming back.

Cold food rude staff $47 for lunch food was cold and service bad. They spoke in their only language and we google translated and they were complaining about us wasting food. If the food wasn’t cold we wouldn’t have wasted it. And some food wasn’t to taste. That’s what a buffet is all about you win some you lose some. I didn’t really mind paying for the price but it wasn’t good.

After a long hot day on the road I just wanted a good sit down meal. I get in this restaurant and it turns out they have no air-conditioning at all just a couple old fans blowing hot air around. Turns out the old server just hollered at the other employees and the food was plain nasty. I left my food on the plate and covered it up, heck the flies didn’t even want it. After my complaint they still charged me $13.75. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
