We have eaten at Ming Kitchen many times. In my opinion they serve the most delicious Chinese food in Windsor. Additionally, the service is always exceeding our expectations. They treat their customers like family. Whether we are dining in or taking out, we love the food from Ming’s!

First time trying this place (Chinese restaurant), and I wish I had done it sooner! They offer a great mix of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes. I ordered the shrimp with Maggi seasoning, paired with steamed rice and wonton soup. The wonton soup was light and refreshing, and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and flavourful. Generous serving for the main dish, and both dishes were simple but done really well. The house tea was perfectly brewed, and the service was prompt and excellent. Overall, a great dining experience!

I usually place an order online at least once a month as the food is really good. I called them today to place my regular order as their website is down. I don’t have a printed menu and tried to place an order for the 2 combos we usually get and the woman was so rude she hung up on me. Well you just lost a longtime customer, who places orders 1-2 times a month.

It is very unfortunate to have to change my review regarding this restaurant. Upon going multiple times recently, we were met with very unpleasant service by the owners. You have to self-serve yourself essentially (walking up and grabbing your own utensils, takeout boxes, etc.) because there was only one person working. Due to this, we were met with slow wait times and poor service. The owner later showed up and even then, two individuals running the front of the house is not enough for a full packed restaurant.
We ordered two dishes and it was an hour wait time before receiving it. Rather than being apologetic, the owner told us not to add anything to our original order (when we wanted to order more) because they were backed up. Although the food was good, the wait time and rude service is not worth it as there other other restaurants who are much kinder. They no longer value customers and treat them with the respect they deserve. It is very sad to see the server hired apologize for the long wait time and not the lady boss.
Another time, when we called hoping to reserve a table, the owners response was “we are very busy. Don’t come”. The owner then hung up on us and we were baffled at the response we had received. If they were busy, the owner could have provided us with a simple “sorry, we are currently very busy and do not have a table available for reservation. If you would like to still come, there may be a long wait time and hope you understand”. That would suffice, but instead she decided to provide us with such a response. I will no longer be a customer of such rude establishment and advise anyone who is still willing to be a patron to be weary of the long wait times and rude service.

We came to visit Canada for the day and searched up authentic Chinese food and this restaurant popped up. It did not disappoint for sure!!!! The second we walked in, it was only asian customers. We were very happy to see this. The food tasted delicious and truly authentic. Wish them the very best and for them to continue to excel.

Terrible service, I tried to order on the phone for delivery. I asked first if I’m able to order or is the kitchen closed and they said they still accept delivery orders. After giving my order and providing my number and address (they cannot hear me even after I made sure I enunciated slowly), they cancelled my order.

Phenomenal food. Absolutely now my favorite Chinese restaraunt in Windsor. Unfortunately still only doing takeout or private large gatherings for dinner. The food we had here is comparable to many of our past Toronto haunts. Food is tasty, fresh, good size portions and they do all the regular standards. Of note, eggplant dish, large deep fried shrimp, soft deep fried pork chop and more. Highly recommend.

The food was good, generally less salty and less msg than other Chinese restaurants alike. The portions are big and the prices are fair. The decor is very nice looks more modern and high end. All in all would recommend for authentic Chinese food.
