The food is fresh cooked. Their pork fried rice is one of the best I have ever had! We also got the pineapple chicken…tender, perfectly sweet. Egg rolls and spring rolls are nice and crispy and full of flavor. Perfection for quicky Chinese restart!

TRY THE TEA THEY MAKE THERE! IM TELLING YOU!!! The lady at this restaurant was soooo genuinely hospitable. She explained the taste and ingredients for some new items that I wanted to try. We had Sesame, Tso, and bourbon chicken and it was great! Food was still slamming hot after a hour drive back home. You get your moneys worth !

Food was Good and coming from NY that is hard to say. Definitely recommend and will come back. I would pass on the eggrolls though they are that good, just ok

Well let’s see where to start. My Crab Rangoon is so hard I could not eat it at all, and my meal was also supposed to come with an egg roll and it didn’t. And when I asked for Pork fried rice I was told they were out. What I ordered had pork in it so they could have easily taken some of that pork and cooked it in with my fried rice. And wow then ya got pork fried rice……. I don’t think I will be driving from Hertford, to Edenton for this place again, I am not impressed at all.

This is the best Chinese food in this area. I drive from EC just to get their food. I don’t buy Chinese food in town. The cashier is always greeting you with a smile, the food is great, and consistent with flavor amd texture.

We ordered dinner last night and it was great! We got the beef and broccoli with white rice, general sao’s chicken with fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoons, and the chicken noodle soup. All were 10/10! The people working were working their butts off cooking and the woman working the front register was very attentive. Definitely eating here again!

Their food is amazing. I was a little skeptical because it’s the only Chinese cuisine in town, but I was not let down. I’ve been looking for good General Tso’s chicken since I left NY in 2014 and theirs is the best I’ve tried so far, with actual sauce still on it, unlike most other places I’ve tried. The taste was just what I was looking for. Their sesame chicken (which is always my second choice if I don’t like a place’s General Tso’s) was incredible and I think I may even like it more than any other chicken I’ve tried from a Chinese food place.
The woman who took my order on the phone was very pleasant, and the woman who rang me up when I got there was extremely kind and cheery, seeming to actually value her customers. I would definitely recommend this place as a go-to for Chinese food.
The place is small, and reminiscent of the ones in NY, but much cleaner than any I’ve ever been in. It was not busy on a Saturday morning, but it was my first time there, so I’m not sure if that’s common for them.
I hope this place stays around for a while, because they just got a new repeat customer.

The food here is delicious and the place is very clean. Another review said that they witnessed the owner talking on the phone, handling money and credit cards, then going back in the kitchen. They must have not realized that the hand washing sink is in the kitchen, plus they couldn’t have seen credit cards being handled. The restaurant only accepts cash.

My first visual acceptance was it isn’t the fake yellow rice, it is truly cooked and has a great flavor.
Egg rolls are fantastic, but a little greasy.
Honey chicken is good, it seems to be the sweet and sour chicken crust and coated in a honey sauce. I’ve also had the boneless spare ribs and it has a wonderful flavor, with minimal gristle and a flavorful amount of fat.
Highly recommended for a local Chinese spot.
