Very pleasantly surprised. Most oriental restaurants around here have been 3s at best. The portions were huge. Prices great and very pleasant service. I wish there was one here in Ruckersville. Fast service. Best crab rangoon and hot and sour soup ive had in years. Tiny place but hidden gem. We’ll be back!

I am sorry but I have come back to amend my review. Since the original post I have endeavored to re-work all of the chicken that was inedible as prepared. As I remove all the chicken from their container I discovered an inch layer of broccoli in each container – NONE OF THE DISHES ORDERED HAVE BROCCOLI IN THEIR PREPARATION!! Also sampled the eggs drop soup again and just threw it out. Changed my review of this place Avoid!
Looking forward to trying Ming and during snow storm recovery ordered a large number of dishes. Gen. Tso chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken which disappointedly all tasted the same having all been made with Chinese red sauce. Absolutely no taste variation. The egg drop soup tasted like the base was water rather than a nice chicken broth. Crispy chicken wings were only 2 piece wings with no leg section and were overcooked. I could go on but you get the idea. Cannot recommend this place even in storm recovery

Very friendly service and a huge variety of menu options! I appreciated that there were both authentic Chinese and American-Chinese favorites available. We got chicken lo mein, a soy chicken dish, mu shu chicken, and eggplant tofu pot. Everything was very generous and delicious!

Fast, friendly, and REALLY good. All their vegetarian chickens are amazing in taste, appearance, and texture. And yet it’s not expensive. I’ve loved this place for years and it’s always great. Thank you!

First time trying Ming Dynasty and my family of 5 was very impressed. The food was so good! Prices and portion sizes were fair.

We got: general tso’s chicken, beef n broccoli, kung pow chicken, pork fried rice, chicken low mein, crab rangoon and eggrolls.

Everything.was.delish!

Per my families request, we WILL be back.

Visit #3…the food is really tasty and the gents treat us like family. My wife loves the spicy/sour beef noodle soup…something quite rare to find on the menu. I’m hooked on the Hunan pork (P2) and extra/extra/extra spicy…like tons of tiny red peppers ️ definitely will go back again & again

I really wanted to love Ming Chinese Food, but unfortunately the food was completely flavorless. Everything tasted bland and unseasoned, which was especially disappointing given the price. Spending around $30 for a meal with so little flavor just didn’t feel worth it. I was expecting much more based on the cost and reviews.
