Social Profile:

Food – Drinks – Games It all started in Hartford, Wisconsin where the original Mineshaft was erected. Formerly called “The Commodore”, brothers Tom and Will remodeled the tavern to look very much like an old mine shaft, where it borrowed its present name. In 2019 the mining venture expanded to Oshkosh – a brand new 16,000 sq ft facility for food, drinks and games!

Vibrant, rustic restaurant & bar featuring ample classics like burgers & pizzas, plus a game room.

Interesting place for sure – we had seen advertisements and just happened to be in the area. The food was good, our server was excellent. Would like to come back to try their 56 oz fish bowl margarita.

This place has to be visited if you haven’t been here yet. We stopped on a Wednesday and had the AYCE fish. It was delicious and served faster than any place I’ve ever been. I’m talking Meer minutes. The atmosphere is so nice. And it’s so family friendly, with a huge arcade. Will go again!

We went on a Thursday night for the buy one get one pizza. It was our first time here, and the atmosphere was very rustic with a family friendly feeling. We checked out the arcade room which was pretty big for a restaurant. The pizza was pretty good (maybe a little watery) and so was the appetizer and pumpkin drink. Our server Ashleigh was very sweet. Overall was a good experience and the food was enjoyable.

We just had my sons first birthday party here. There was a small mix up with us not being informed that they were changing the room we were in but besides that initial mix up we had an amazing time. Dylan was our server for the party and he was awesome! He was never too far away when we needed him, he checked on us frequently. He got our drinks and pizza right away as we ordered them. We had a the 50 person party package and it was perfect. We thought we may have to order extra pizza or pitchers of soda/beer but we didn’t. We were able to order a few pizzas at a time so there was always hot pizza when guests showed up. The package comes with 1000 game tokens and it was plenty for the kids. There was about 20 kids at the party, we split the 1000 into 20 playing cards and all the parents were impressed by how many each kid got. The room is very well kept and they let us come and decorate early because there was no previous party. We were also able to book for two party sessions since the party blocks are for 2 hours each. It was super nice that the party area is away from the restaurant and also connected to the arcade. The bakery did a great job on our cupcakes and even added scooby doo designs on them for no extra cost. They allowed us to bring in two folding tables for gifts and decor. Even though it said no carry-ins, they did allow us to bring in juice boxes for the very young kids that do not drink soda. We will absolutely be back for some parties in the future. Very reasonable pricing. I cannot say enough times how great Dylan was. He was so nice and so fast. I’m glad he was our party server, he made the experience as great as it was for sure! I also wanted to add that the pizza was very good. I had only eaten at the Hartford location in the past and was impressed by the pizza for the party.

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday. We had to wait a few minutes after being seated for a server, but not a big deal. Both of our meals were very good and I loved the grill taste of the burger. They offer gf buns (udi’s) and I did not get sick (although cross contamination is not an issue for me). I wanted a bloody mary but unfortunately their mix is not gf-just a heads up for the gf community who follows me. My friend loved her steak and baked potato! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and checked on us several times. We will be back!

Game area is great, food not so much. Went here on a Saturday evening with the family. Food besides the Mac n cheese was not good. Chips were stale, spaghetti sauce tasted horrible and was spicy, and the McDonald’s crispy chicken sandwich is a couple steps above the ones here. Way over priced for the quality you get.

Atmosphere is ok. Not the same charm as the original in Hartford. Very large open area dining. It is new and very clean. Service was decent.

Game room was state of the art and has games for all ages groups. Very clean and reasonably priced all things considered.

Overall I will likely not go back here and go to Hartford instead based on the food and charm.

I was really surprised by the good quality of food here. I’ve been to other game and restaurant combination , and this food was much better! The service was a disappointment at the time we were there. Slow & disappeared for long stretches of time. But I would probably return.

We had a room for a birthday party. We all got the Sunday brunch buffet (the bill was over $200) but the waitress never came on to clear any plates or refill drinks until the end of the party 2 hours later and when we ordered sweet tea specifically, she brought a pitcher of unsweetened tea and when I told her when she finally came back, she said that’s all they have. They don’t do sweet tea. And then lectured us on how “old people like it”. Would have been nice to mention that when we ordered sweet”sweet tea” lol. Anyway. Service was disappointing.

Mineshaft is a pretty neat place to eat and play some video games. We all had the brunch buffet and spend a couple of hours in the game room with the kids. If you haven’t been it’s worth a visit.

Liz provided exceptional service, demonstrating both professionalism and attentiveness to our requirements.

Our meal commenced with a side salad, which was remarkably fresh and crisp. The ranch dressing also proved to be quite flavorful. Subsequently, we savored the cheesy garlic bread and a Wisconsin special pizza. This pizza featured cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and onions on a thin crust, which was notably crispy and contained delightful air pockets. The toppings were truly delectable. Following our meal, we participated in some gaming activities. While we didn’t achieve significant wins this evening, the experience was enjoyable.
