I personally like restaurants which are quiet, spacious and well lit. This was such a restaurant with awesome ambience. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Though there was plenty of space, but was not cramped with plenty of tables. excellent atmosphere.
We ordered punugulu, mirchi bajji, cheese pav bhajji, plain dosa, Veg noodles, karam veg uthappam and filter coffee. everything was spot on. Their peanut chutney was mouth watering. it was thick and flavourful. Nothing felt too oily. Price was optimum but can increase the portion of punugulu. And they did not have a tipping option, so carry some cash if you wanna tip those amazing guys. the staff were very friendly and food arrived within 5 mins of ordering.
I haven’t tried the brampton branch but will definitely visit again to taste their meals and a few other menu items.

Visited Minerva Tiffins for breakfast and tried the ghee podi idli, karam dosa, and rava dosa. The ghee podi idli was soft, flavorful, and nicely coated with ghee and podi. The karam dosa was also quite good—crispy with a decent spice kick.
The rava dosa, however, could be better. It lacked the crispness and depth of flavor compared to the other dishes. Overall, a good spot for South Indian breakfast, especially for idli and dosa lovers, with some room for improvement on the rava dosa.

We visited on a rainy evening with a strong craving for idly, and the restaurant delivered perfectly. We ordered idly, vada, masala dosa, and puri, followed by gulab jamun and masala chai. Every dish was delicious, and the mint chutney was exceptionally good. It’s rare to find a place where almost everything is prepared so well. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I tried the masala dosa and dahi bhalla.
Both of the foods tasted nice. The chutneys with the dosa were perfectly flavoured. I really liked that the dosa was not greasy. And the dahi bhalla just melted in the mouth.
However, the only thing I didn’t like was the quantity of mashed potato filling inside the masala dosa.

We’re regulars here because it’s our go‑to spot for South Indian comfort food. I always look forward to their egg dosa, and their traditional coffee is something I genuinely love. Today, our server Alekhiya,who was incredibly warm and friendly—recommended the benne dosa, a new specialty they just added to the menu. Her suggestion was perfect. It was delicious, and it’s definitely going to be one of the dishes we keep coming back for.

I am a regular at Minerva Tiffins. My family and I always enjoy eating here. Today I felt like having a cold coffee and I requested our server if they can make me a Nescafe Milkshake. Since the item was not on the menu, the server told me I’ll check and she came back to confirm that they are specially preparing it for me. What came to the table was a glass filled with nostalgia. The first sip took me back to a typical south Indian restaurant in Mumbai where they sell it as ‘cold coffee with ice cream’. This Nescafe Milkshake was exactly what I wanted. Minerva Tiffins – you are missing out on an opportunity. Please add Nescafe Milkshake to your menu. Until then, I’ll continue to make a special request to you to make it for me! Thank you so much!
