Good food.
Had Idli Vadai Combo and Channa Batura .
It was tasty as we were also hungry as we had our lunch only at 4 PM . And it was open while many had closed

I work right across the street and my coworkers and I order food from here constantly! The chicken tikka masala is better than I’ve ever had, butter chicken is also amazing. The food is always fresh and amazing! Great grocery selection too.

Great luncheon buffet Fri Sat Sun. Excellent food for the price. Both meat and veggie choices along with nan and a steam-table dessert.Great hole-in-the-wall restaurant attached to an Indian grocery. I often haunt the buffet and recommend it to all my friends

I have found most American “Indian” restaurants use one spice CUMIN+CUMIN then a sprinkle of cumin on top. I brought home the Tikka Masala and could taste the layers of flavor.i am looking forward to trying a few more dishes! Samosas are excellent too

They have Indian spices that Safeway, Giant, etc al., don’t carry. Also really good okra, ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Neat snacks and teas, too.
I visited the shop, not the restaurant.

I ordered some idly sambar and a chicken biriyani. The biriyani was amazing but I don’t think they know what an idly sambar is. The sambar and idly came in separate containers. There was so little sambar, not even enough to soak one idly in it. And the idlis were really rubbery and sticky. This is the only place nearby I can get South Indian tiffin for a reasonable price but this made me so sad. Two stars because of how good the biriyani was tho, especially for the price.

It’s a takeout setup – some room to sit and eat, but I consider this an Indian food takeout gem within a grocery store. I’m happy with Palak Paneer with rice, and this place hits the spot every time.

Samosas are excellent and the grocery section, though small and cramped, is good. Chicken tikka masala was very good. Garlic naan and Lamb curry were good. Friendly staff.

Wow. These guys have stepped up their game since I was last here. Particular kudos to the chicken 65, lamb biryani, and bhindi. Always satisfying, the food was less oily and more refined. Flavors popped! As always- this is takeout city. Go. But Don’t look for ambience here.

If you’re stopping in for groceries next door at A-1, might as well get some yummy Indian snacks. Good location, parking is on the side. Even better if you can catch them when stuff is fried fresh.
