The highest compliment I can give Mineral Mill and Grill is that I don’t have any complaints.
First, I love that it is locally owned. If it wasn’t, you would not find me eating there.
Second, the parking lot and restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean, which is super important to me. The menus were also clean, which demonstrates to me that it is a clean restaurant.
Third, the Caesar salad with salmon was exactly what I wanted before going for a walk. I was not stuffed and it was delicious tasting. Thanks to the waitress for the recommendation and the lemon slices.
Since I only drink water, I really appreciated the waitress keeping my glass full. I was surprised when she asked if I wanted ice. I’m not sure if I have ever been asked that before.
I will be back.

Our appetizer was amazing!! Sicilian rolls. The burger was good. But our waitress seemed to have an attitude. Asked if I wanted to take marinara home with the leftover appetizer. I said yes and she threw the take home container at me. Not what I would anticipate in a waitress. Seemed like she didnt want to be there at all.

The food and service here were actually pretty good! We were in town for an event and decided to randomly check this place out. We got cheese curds, a salmon salad, and mussels. For being totally land-locked and several hundred miles from coastal waters the black mussels tasted surprisingly fresh! The staff was great, and the prices were pretty decent, as well. I definitely recommend them for the reasons listed!

We were in town for my son’s wrestling tournament, so we stopped on our way back out of town. It was right before 5 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet when we arrived, but it was getting busy as we were leaving. The food was great. Service was on the slower side, but not terrible. The atmosphere was good. It was pretty cold inside, and our appetizer I felt was pretty small for the price, but overall, it was a good experience. They have really good water, and what I call “the good ranch”.
The parking lot could use some attention with the ice, etc. We parked on the opposite side from the entrance, and there was no sidewalk to get around the building. There was a lot of ice to walk over on the way in.

This is probably one of the better restaurants in Fort Dodge, The food was decent. I think the pastas were the best choice. The kids meals come with a lot of food, two kids could share. The waitress was great! We had a party of 14 and the staff quickly put some tables together to accommodate us all. There’s a patio if you prefer to sit outside.

Overall a very nice experience. The Cajun Pasta with Chicken was good, the chicken had a bit too much extra dry seasoning but it was still juicy, just drying in your mouth if you got a piece with a lot of seasoning.Our server was very sweet but the gal who sat us may have been having a rough day. She was polite but seemed ready for a break.

My family and I went here for my Mother in Law’s birthday. Our waitress kept walking away as she spoke which left us unsure of what she said more than half the time. She kept communication to a minimum, didn’t smile or seem very friendly. My burger was served to me raw and my husband’s chicken parm was gritty but cold, the noodles were undercooked and the bread was really dry. We complained about it and asked them to not even remake it, we just don’t want to be charged for it. They proceeded to try to compensate for the horrible service and food by offering a free cake to my MIL and comp’d the dishes we didn’t eat, still came out to $71! They were going to charge us $140!! This place is horrific. Please don’t waste your time here.
