We have had the pleasure of amazing pizza and this might be one of my top 5. First of all, the kitchen smaller like your Italian grandmothers kitchen. The staff was friendly and efficient. We didn’t make it home (to be fair home is an hour away) before digging into our pizza and oh man. Crispy crust, delicious sauce and so much gooey wonderful cheese. This is what I want when I think of pizza. Will definitely be back!

Everybody that works there is rude or maybe because I am African American but the way the cook talk to me today, when I told him that I was not satisfied with slices of pizza he added in my box to make a whole pizza. All I asked for was a new pizza and he said no the little slice equals to one slice, and I could buy more slices. I politely asked for my money back. I work to hard to be disrespected and my money spends everywhere. Definitely a race issue there.

OH my!!! This pizza is delicious! I knew it was going to be really good for two reasons while I was placing the order.
1. I ordered extra cheese and pepperoni and she stated that they already use a lot of cheese and wanted to warn me before charging me.
2. She said it’d be an hour wait
I was NOT disappointed in the slightest! It is absolutely delicious and I will be back next visit to Pittsburgh!

Count your days, Mineo”s has went down hill. Not only is the customer service terrible but now the pizza is, they use to care about there customers but I guess now all they care about is the money. We work too hard for our money to just burn it up, just like this pizza is burned, Let alone look at the pizza. Throw all the workers away and the pizza.

I have to say I have heard all great things about this pizza for years and years. We did a little taste test of this place and the pizza a couple doors down. I will say, truthfully, that many came in second on this day. Although the cheese was plentiful, there was a 2 inch crust on the pizza leaving only about 3 inches of cheese and the cheese and sauce were very unflavored for. The crust was done almost to perfection again besides the extra wide crust with nothing on it. It definitely did not live up to the hype but for an old Pittsburgh nostalgic feel it’s definitely worth trying. 2.50 for a cheese slice

Yum. Pizza is definitely the highlight of all of the menu items this restaurant has to offer! Soo much cheese and I’m not complaining lol.
The owner was just wonderful- kind and attentive despite the busyness of the whole place. If you want some old fashioned, delicious pizza then this is your spot.

Fresh hot food. Manicotti and meatballs were good. Wife had eggplant parm. Said it was amazing. Daughter had calzone. The small one is huge. Great place here in Squirrel Hill.

Cash Only, so be prepared. I wasn’t prepared lol. Pizza was hotttttttt out the oven, very fresh and made with love, you could taste. They also have a bar area that has beer in tap. I would definitely recommend stopping by. Also some pizza can be ordered by the slice.
