It is one of the best pizza joints in Pittsburgh. The cheese is awesome, toppings are plentiful, and sauce is perfect. It is truly a Pittsburgh institution. This is a must stop place for visitors. The bar and other items are great, but the pizza is what you want!

Had the Arancini and Garlic bread for appetizers. Never had Arancini before and was pleasantly surprised, give it a try. Decided to order by the slice pizza to try several things. Had white pizza and the pepperoni and sausage Sicilian slice. Sauce was very tasty. Sicilian had nice texture and flavor. Also tried the ravioli and it was good as well. Finished with a tiramisu and cannoli which were also good. Warning, cash only and parking options are limited. Would definitely come back and try more of their menu.

Decent pizza. I don’t recommend the wedding soup- there were no noodles. Tasty salad, thick ranch dressing. Pepperoni hiding under the cheese with the grease, which i like. Neat history on this place and another local pizza joint (look it up) pizza was HOT!! Hot hot! Clean facility and nice atmosphere

Comfort Pizza- This is a magical place. It transcends the amazing pizza. It’s the best place to share a slice with a friend or a soon to be friend or even better … your partner. This is my pizza. The pizza of friendship and love. Deliciously made. You can taste the quality in the crust and the cheese. Just don’t eat it right out of the oven- give it like 4 minutes. Don’t sleep on the salads not pictured here because I ate it immediately and always so fresh and crunchy. Also recommend the cheese fries.Go here and be happy or Go happy and be here.

When I think Pittsburgh pizza, Mineos is one of the 1st names that comes to mind. My family has been ordering Mineo’s pies for generations. The inch of melted cheese and various toppings over their house sauce and dough. I suggest a couple napkins and sometimes fork and knife will save a slice when the cheese wants to ooze off.

Did a take out and the order was on time. The pizza was as cheesy as they can make it. It tastes better when it’s not piping hot. It was perfect for someone who likes loads of cheese on their pizza.

Exceptional pizza. One of the best Sicilian’s I have found in Pittsburgh. The three of us in my party all noticed that the counter staff did not speak up enough to hear clearly and they didn’t seem very friendly. Fountain drinks were not available.

I travel to Pittsburgh about every 6 months or so to help our daughter move residences between semesters. Today was the day for the move and as a father my one joy was to be able to have some good Pittsburgh pizza. I made a grave mistake today by ordering from Mineo’s Pizza. After sweating my butt off all day it finally became time for nourishment, I know my role as a provider was to get dinner so we could continue with the move and set up. After finding a place to park a moving van, picking up my order, in the rain, and stopping for cash BC that’s all they accept. My order was short two items. I was only ten minutes away but when I called back to ask about my missing items the person on the other line could care less. They offered a credit, which I found odd since I paid cash, $110 dollars with tip. I went back got my food, no apology given. By the time I got back, the rest of the food was cold. My dinner ruined and now I have to go put beds together so maybe I can be done with this day from hell.

Really great pizza. Pricey, thus the 4 stars. Ed Gainey really jerked the shop with his stupid purple curbs painted in front of the shop, causing for an added expense for the shop that the owner passed onto his customers. $26 for a large, 1 topping. Cash only. Thanks again for a city with extra homeless addicts camping in the city, Mr. Gainey. Thanks for the expensive pizza, too. Oh, thanks for making the city so violent that Beyonce cancelled. She ain’t stupid.
