This is a good, reliable consistent local diner serving all the breakfast and lunch basics and then, taking it up a notch or two with specialty & innovative plates.
My wife and I sat down for a quick breakfast & were delighted to meet our fantastic server Vicky.
We ordered coffee, bacon, turkey bacon, eggs Benedict, eggs, pancakes, corn beef hash & toast and had no major issues that would push me to not recommend this interesting throwback diner.
If you’re a local or in town looking for all the breakfast & lunch staples.. Mineola Diner is for you.
On top of that, there were way too many tomato slices, placed directly on the bread, making everything soggy. The lettuce was old, as you can clearly see in the picture. The whole thing was just not appetizing at all. Packaging was sloppy too.
Sorry, but I won’t be ordering again. Three times and you’re out.
We were greeted and seated right away. Each staff member was very pleasant and helpful. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive during our entire visit.
Four of us ordered different dishes. The breakfast menu had some very unique items.
Our food arrived very soon after ordering. All of our food was hot and came just as we requested. Each item was well-prepared and very tasty.
We are looking forward to our next visit to the Mineola Diner!
We would love to visit this place soon again for some Sunday breakfast!
They might consider selling the place to a person interested in running a diner not a breakfast spot.
