We have been to Mimosa house in gold river and the spot in El Dorado Hills was great too. We had a very friendly staff member serve us a delicious Maple latte . Soo good like amazing. If you love maple and coffee you gotta try this beverage. We also shared some loaded tots that were quite tasty and a great appetizer or shared snack. Perfectly fried tater tots served on top of a lovely homemade cheese sauce topped with bacon and drizzle of sour cream (?) & green onions. I would go back again right now for these lovely treats. This is how food and beverage should be done. The service was quite friendly and hospitable making sure to pull a heater over to keep us warm on the patio. Nice place and nice people.

First time here for a bday breakfast. It was everything I expected and more. Atmosphere is chill and welcoming. Service was on point and our server was sweet and attentive to our needs.
Ordered the Shorty Loco off the Island plates section. It was quite delicious and the portions were literally two meals…for me. Everything (rice, eggs) was cooked to perfection and the short ribs were seasoned well.
The Strawberry waffle combo was also delicious. You get your choice of all bacon, sausage or half and half with eggs your way. The waffle was perfect because the batter taste like a funnel cone basically and that with the fresh fruit and whipped cream was heaven.
Parking is no problem on Sunday mornings. There’s a nice size patio with umbrellas for outdoor seating. Definitely will be back!!

I’ve been a frequent guest at Mimosa for breakfast with my wife and always enjoyed it – until now.
This time was truly disappointing. When we sat down, the table was still sticky and dirty from the previous day, and the whole patio area was unclean, with small trash and dog hair on the floor in some spots.
They served us room-temperature coffee on a cold morning, and when I asked for a replacement, it came in dirty mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly washed. It felt like we were being served like we were dogs getting leftovers. And to top it off, I requested some hot sauce and ketchup that never even arrived.
On the bright side, the omelet was still great, and I hope the kitchen quality stays good before it’s too late.

What a surprise find! Cars & Coffee event with our large family! A cold morning with a wonderful place to sit down and have an over-the-top meal and experience! The food and service was fantastic! Can’t wait to return!

We stopped by Mimosa House for lunch after a movie, thinking it would be a convenient spot near the theater. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The menu is heavily geared toward red meat, with very limited choices for white meat or vegetarian eaters. We ordered the nachos and customized the Mother Clucker handhelds without bacon, but it did not help. Everything—the nachos, the chicken sandwich, and the fries—tasted and smelled like meat, as if all were fried in the same palm oil. Even the fries and nachos had a strong meat odor that was hard to ignore. This lunch was a complete disappointment. I would not return to this restaurant.

The first point being that two of the four of us were bathroom bound within 2 hours after dining here. Food poisoning aside, the salad was swimming in dressing. The waiter was inattentive and did not refill our empty water glasses until prompted after 30 minutes. The main dishes lacked soul and were mediocre in flavor. Portion size is good.
If you have time to wait for another restaurant, please do to save your stomach.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch. Conveniently located in town center and ample parking. Every time we’ve been, we’ve only had a short wait.
Service is fast and friendly and we had all of our requests satisfied.
Food was delicious!! Portion size is significant and you could easily split one entree.

Great location! Very good Ambience, cute outdoor seating! Very good customer service our waitress was great! The reason I didn’t give it a five star review…..The food was just slightly above okay. I don’t want to say I was disappointed, I just had higher expectations. It’s worth stopping in and trying it out and being your own judge ️
