Great service and great prices! They catered the food for our company Christmas party. The food was incredible as always, just like every time we have ordered from or dined in. We always had a great experience with Mimmo and glad that it can carry on with the new ownership.

The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo the chicken was minimal, and tasted freezer burnt, flavorless. The dish had very little sauce couldn’t even cover noodles or the chicken. My wife’s was flavorless. the sauce has changed. This is not the first time we have been there since the owner change but we won’t be ordering anything but a pizza and the last pizza we had wasn’t very good either. Ciminnos in Mt. Morris will be seeing us more. Definitely now a 4.5 stars the review score should be reset with new owners

Nice variety on menu to choose from.
Highly recommend the battered mushrooms. Dipping sauce was boring ranch dressing, could use horseradish type dip.
Pizza was really good.
Friday fish tasted good. It is not all you can eat, but was enough with salad, 3 pcs fish, fries and a roll.
Friendly staff, very attentive.
Hometown feel in bar, but was not unwelcoming like some can be.
We’ll def go back again to try other things.

We ordered for pick up and were really excited to try the place because of the reviews online. The cheese curds were really soft and oily. They tasted rubbery, like they were reheated in a microwave. They forgot the side of fries. I don’t blame the girl who took the order because she was new… maybe it was just she wasn’t trained enough. The baked tortellini was alright. It did have a little too much oil/grease but was tasted alright after mixing it together. I did nicely call the restaurant to just tell them about my boyfriend and I’s experience. I talked to the owner and he asked if I could send a picture of the cheese curds. He said that he makes them fresh every morning and they get put in the fryer before being sent out for an order (from what I understood from what he said). The owner said it was hard to believe there was an issue with the cheese curds because of all his years of business he has never had a complaint about them. He was not calling me a liar, but did ask for proof also. He did offer to give us fries plus swap out for something else instead of the cheese curds, but repeated how he couldn’t believe there was an issue with the cheese curds. I let him know that my bf was just upset and said that he didn’t want to go back to eat here. I was just letting him know about our experience, and wanted to feel like he was listening to my concerns. We didn’t want anything from it, since my bf already stated he didn’t want ro go back and I let the owner know that. I did appreciate tho how he was willing to give us the fries, but my bf was just too upset since he spent so much $ on the food for the quality we got. I do have to say, at least the Tiramisu was good.

Excited to try the place, ordered food, they messed it up. OK not a big deal, ill just tell them about it, talked to the manager who proceeded to argue with me about how it was made how I asked. It wasn’t I even took it apart to prove it. Also didn’t get half the food I ordered. Asked for either them to refund it or remake it, and instead of either the manager proceeded to argue with me again. You have lost yet ANOTHER CUSTOMER. Whoever the manager is needs a new job not working in customer service. They mess up the food and dont even give you everything you ordered yet dont even make it right.

Haven’t had Mimos in at least 20 years and was in the area and decided to pick up a large pizza to see if it was still as good as I remembered. Unfortunately it was mediocre and disappointing. The crust, cheese and pepperoni were all top tier but the sauce was basically non existent. It was like eating cardboard. Not the taste but in consistency. It was so dry and you need a gallon of water just to get it down. I understand things are expensive in 2025 and running a restaurant is not cheap but skimping out on sauce on a pizza is inexcusable. I don’t mind paying a bit extra if it means making it the right way. Maybe my specific order was just rushed out door but I figured I’d warn others in case. I’ll try again another time to see if it was just a one time mistake or if this is how it is now but it was definitely a bummer!

Great place. Might be even better now. Best prime rib I’ve had around here and the food came out fast. Drinks were good too and the salad bar is a very nice addition. Would definitely go back.
