Since 1997 we have served the Carterville area but we also have customers from around the area. We serve authentic Italian food cooked with high quality ingredients made fresh every day. Cooking is my passion since I grew up with family restaurant owners. We’ve kept the same name as my father’s to honor him since he started Mimmo’s pizza in the 70’s. We’ve enjoyed serving this area, our customers over the years have become just like family. We thank everyone that put their trust on us..and that will continue to do so in the years to come .

First time visiting, and we really liked the pizza. My fiance says “I feel like I’m biting into my childhood”! The turnaround was super quick and the people we interacted with were warm, polite, and welcoming. Great little place, my only downside were the bread sticks, they were basic dough and generic. If they used the pizza dough to pull out bread sticks (like Pizza King) in house I doubt I would ever go anywhere else! We are very excited to try their pastas next time we come!

Authentic, family owned, Italian food. Best pesto sauce I have ever tasted! Calzones, sandwiches, salads and pizzas were absolutely delicious!!! Food coma delish lol. Small restaurant, so if it’s busy, it is worth ordering to go!!!! This will definitely be a repeat spot we visit, when we return to Lake Egypt!

Just about the BEST Italian food I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve been around a while. Pasta and marinara exquisite!! Meatballs…off the chain!!! Pizza is absolutely delicious! Salads super fresh and crisp. I have lived in Southern Illinois since 1986 and just discovered this place. The pizza is absolutely the best I have ever had. I cannot wait to return and try some of their other dishes. If you are traveling through and don’t mind a 10 minute drive off the interstate you have to stop and get some! I wish I would have discovered this place sooner!

My favorite pizza in southern Illinois. From the crust and sauce to the in-house sausage it is hard to go wrong. Price is also great. While I do not order the pasta dishes often all have been tops. No delivery and closed on Saturday.
