Very disappointed with this restaurant. Food was not very good, the owner is only into making money. I should have read other reviews before choose this restaurant.
I have ordered the Seafood Platter, it came in a regular dinner plate and half of the plate was filled with lettuce, tomato, and French Fries. Either the oil was too old or they have over fried the seafood, everything was dark and dried. The New England Clam Chowder was the worst that I ever had, it was so watery and there was barely any solid in the soup. It was like drinking a cup of Half and Half. Caprese salad was filled with lettuce and croutons. They charged me $1 for the extra dressing that I asked for. My mother in-law ordered a pasta dish and she said it had no flavor. Boom Boom Shrimp was very good, but only came with six pieces of shrimp and filled with shredded lettuce and diced tomato.
We were charged $3.50 for paying the bill with credit card. When I stated that I wasn’t informed about the extra charge, the owner told me it was posted by the front entrance. It was off to the right of the door in small font, I never say it. The other sign was posted by the register. I would never see it since the waitress brought us the bill and took our credit card. The credit card merchant fee should be part of the restaurant’a operating cost, the customers should not be paying for it.
Our waitress Anna was very friendly and worked hard.

Ordered the italian sub for 9 bucks. 2 Thin slices of ham, 2 of salami, 2 of cheese. Are you kidding me? Man did I feel cheated. DO NOT ORDER SUBS FROM THIS PLACE.

Don’t buy the meat ball roll ! Not a meat ball one and its no roll ! It’s a calzone the onion rings only gave 4 ! 100% false advertisement !! We called the store. the manager was rude to my wife ! I will not recommend this pizza shop to anyone and will do business elsewhere! Didn’t offer to fix the problem !!

I love mimmo’s pizza! It’s the best in Mechanicsville or Henrico by far! I try to get a pepperoni pizza here once a week and it never disappoints. I always do a pickup order and it’s ready fast, the staff and owner are super friendly!

Our server Daisy was very good as well as the Food. The Lasagna was tasty and had a nice amount of meat. My salad was fresh and a nice size. We will be back on our next trip through Burkeville. Oasis in desolation.
