I don’t even know where to begin. Super neat atmosphere decorated for Christmas and playing some kind of Christmas jazz. Off season so slower but amazing staff from host to waitress to bartender. Loved hearing the staff talking to the locals. Got the garlic rolls like everyone recommended in the reviews and they were right do NOT skip those! I decided to order the saltimbocca, I have been chasing a god-tier saltimbocca I had in Vesta in Iowa City and nothing has ever even come close. Until this, I was in HEAVEN!!! I could have cried because I decided this would be my last try at ordering it and it was SO GOOD. Then dessert. My husband got chocolate cake and he’s not normally a sweets guy but he finished it and said it was the best dessert he’d ever had! And I got the tiramisu and it was god-tier, like I am going to have a hard time ordering it anywhere else. Every drink I tried was absolutely excellent, and that was something I was nervous about but they all three hit perfectly.
Our waitress specifically was Lola and she was absolutely fantastic.
I cannot recommend this place enough, if you’re on the fence please go!

We came here for my husband’s birthday and it was AMAZING!! They were able to get us in on quick notice. Our server Evette was so attentive and truly made our dining experience wonderful. The lamb was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back here.

First time coming to this restaurant and vacation in Destin every year. The atmosphere and food are top tier. Our server Clair, was so knowledgeable and gave the best recommendations. Definitely recommend getting the pizza and cannot go wrong with any of the pastas. Everything tasted so fresh and paired very well together. Will be coming here!

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful! The hosts were so warm and welcoming while the Manager was wonderful and came out and checked on us twice! The shrimp fettuccine alfredo was to die for! Mimmo’s is definitely worth visiting if you’re in Destin! Ask for your server to be Clare as she is spectacular at her job! This restaurant will definitely be added to our yearly trip!

Mimmo’s is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at in my whole life. The food is fresh with rich taste profiles. Our server, Dennis, was very attentive and his suggestions worked very well with what we hoped for in our dishes. The wine options worked very well with our entrees with nice options. The only thing I was disappointed by was the house wine was a California and not an Italian wine. The olive oil that was served with the bread was robust and delicious. The decorations and feel of the restaurant was a pleasure to dine at. There’s outdoor seating, however this place sits on a busy road and the traffic noise would take away from the experience, so I’d recommend dining indoors.

We arrive after an event on a Thursday, but hadn’t made reservations. Place was packed. The man that held the door open for us was the manager or the owner, he got us the only open table in the building. Service was polite and fast. Costs were expected for the level of service and quality of food.
It’s easy to give good service when everything goes correctly. One of the people in our party forgot to order without dressing. No fuss whatsoever – just brought out a new order.
I can’t help but laugh at the ridiculous people who write, “I’ve come to this business for decades, but tonight they (insert some minor inconvenience) so I’m leaving a 1 star only because I can’t leave 0 stars” For places like this, I’m leaving a 5 star, because I can’t leave 6
