I stopped by Mimisky’s taco truck today with my little sister and it turned into such a fun first visit. The truck sits in a small lot next to a smoke shop near the corner of Atlantic and Congress… classic authentic taco truck vibes with Mexican music playing in the background. Most people seemed to order by phone and pick up, or order at the window and wait in their cars until it was ready. It still felt friendly and inviting even without much seating. We ordered at the window, waited at the little table for our food, then took everything home for a cozy lunch. Gabriela served us and she was so sweet, which made the experience even nicer.
The Mimisky’s Especial was the star for me. The seasoned pork and grilled beef with cheese, cilantro, onion, pineapple, and guacamole tasted so fresh. I loved the mix of sweet and savory. Their orange salsa surprised me too… flavorful with a nice kick without being too spicy. The Quesabirria was really meaty and rich, and dipping it into the warm consomé made it even better. We added esquites on the side and it brought a creamy, comforting balance to the meal.
For drinks we tried their aguas frescas. The cucumber lime tasted like a refreshing virgin mojito. The piña was sweet in that fresh pineapple way that feels natural and delicious.
They mentioned they will be adding desserts to the menu soon, so I am excited to come back and try whatever they roll out next.

Great, authentic Mexican food!!! The flavors are incredible and everything tastes fresh and homemade. The birria tacos are the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. The consommé is rich and delicious, making every bite even better. Highly recommend if you’re craving real, authentic Mexican cuisine!

Everything cooked fresh to order, so there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth. Super juicy and flavorful meats. The especial is delicious and their birria also great, appreciated that the consume was not oversalted. Spotless appliances.

I got two quesadillas and the cucumber and lime a drink. Everything was delicious and fresh and the service was great. The guys are very fast and very nice.

The pineapple drink was excellent. The rest of the food was really mediocre nothing to write home about. How this place gets a 4.8 4.9 star rating I have no idea. I know what Mexican and New Mexican and Tex Mexican food should taste like. This ain’t it at all. They charged me extra for the sandwich I got because I got the Berea meat yet it says on the menu $11 for the sandwich for any meat I want but they still charged me 12 why I think I paid the gringo tax when you order a taco it should come with two soft tortillas but yet it only came with one what’s with that also the steak on the taco the taco steak meat was terrible. In the end we would not be back. Unless we really wanted that pineapple drink that one was pretty good but there was no price on the pineapple drinking would you believe it was almost 6 bucks? Yep five something anyway I think I paid the gringo tax all around so they got me one time but that’s it. I hope your experience will be better than mine

I had a couple of al pastor tacos and a couple of chicken tacos. Both were excellent and their homemade salsa verde is highly recommended. It was great on both tacos. There were also a bunch of local police there so you know it has to be good.

As a south Florida native that has eaten at more taco restaurants than I can count through the years, this is the best Mexican tacos, burrito, tostadas, etc in all of Florida. Their food is next level! Authentic, delicious, and made with their heart and soul. For any foodie, not eating here would be the greatest food mistake of your life!
