A tight but great place. Line was very quick and staff were straightforward and efficient. Flavors of pizza were varied and good quality overall. Highly recommend any of their square slices as had nice crisp to the dough and flavors were on point. Seating is counter style against the side wall which felt a bit cramped but adds to the vibe in a way.

Fantastic UES pizza! We stopped in for a snack after visiting the Guggenheim and it did not disappoint. We just grabbed a few slices of what was already made: a sausage and pepperoni slice and a pepperoni deep dish square slice.

It can be hard to figure out what pizza in New York is actually good but this place is the real deal. Perfect crunch, perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The price was right and so was the wait! Give them a try

Whenever I think of New York, pizza is always at the top of my list, and Mimi’s Pizza is one of those spots that absolutely stands out. I stumbled upon it not expecting much, but after trying it once, I can confidently say this is a place I’ll always make a stop at whenever I’m back in the city. The pizza here is just that good memorable in every sense of the word.

The crust strikes the perfect balance: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and sturdy enough to hold the toppings without feeling too heavy. You can tell the dough is made with care because it has that subtle flavor that only comes from a well fermented base. The sauce is another highlight tangy, flavorful, and seasoned just right without being overly salty. Paired with the fresh cheese that melts beautifully over the top, every bite feels like the kind of New York pizza experience people rave about.

What I really love is that Mimi’s doesn’t try to do too much or reinvent the wheel. It’s classic pizza done right, with the kind of execution that leaves a lasting impression. I’ve had countless slices around the city, and while New York is packed with good options, Mimi’s has this way of sticking with you. It’s the kind of slice that you think about later and crave again.

The place itself is unpretentious and welcoming, making it easy to grab a quick slice or sit down for a whole pie. Service is straightforward and friendly, which matches the casual, no-frills vibe.

All in all, Mimi’s Pizza is a gem that deserves the praise it gets. Delicious, memorable, and the kind of pizza that makes you want to come back to NYC just to have it again.

I was visiting Manhattan, NYC, and ended up having the third best pizza I’ve ever had in my life at Mimi’s Pizza — and I’ve had a lot of pizza.

As a pizza connoisseur with very high standards, this place honestly exceeded expectations across the board. The crust, the balance, the flavor — everything just worked. The pizza was shockingly good.

HUGE shoutout to DJ and Franklin, who served me and made my pizza. The service was absolutely amazing, and somehow the pizza itself was even better. You can tell there’s real pride and consistency behind what they’re doing here.

If you’re anywhere near 3rd Avenue and 86th, do yourself a favor and stop in. Mimi’s isn’t just good NYC pizza — it’s elite.

P.s. Ask for what they recommend

This pizza is really tasty and somehow New York but different. I would liken it to a thinner crispier mama too square style. I think the flavors come together really well without being too saucy. It’s also good cold.

They have a great sales tactic of opening their door and as you walk by … you’ll need to exercise utmost self-control to not follow your nose and try a slice. I am not strong so I had to stop and see if the pizza tastes as good as it smells… and thank GOD I did because it was the absolute best grandma marg slice of pie I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to bring my family here to have them try.

After a long day at the MET, I was absolutely starving, and Mimi’s offered just the right remedy. It was a beautiful warm fall day, so I grabbed a seat at one of their tables outside. I ordered the Grandma’s Margarita Pizza, which looked so good I burned my mouth on the first bite because I couldn’t wait for it to cool. The crust was crisp yet melted softly with a hint of sweetness, the cheese was fresh and delicate, and the sauce carried that tangy-savory punch I love. The wait for the pizza was a bit longer than I’d hoped, but once it arrived, my brother and I were racing each other for the next slice with pure enthusiasm — a true testament to how satisfying it was. If you’re near Mimi’s, do yourself a favor and stop in

I popped in after work before I hopped on the train. I was hungry and needed something to hold me till dinner and let me tell you…this pizza HIT. I had low expectations, they don’t even really have a noticeable sign. Sicilian usually isn’t my thing but the pesto vodka slice was calling my name. The crust was perfectly crispy. Slightly doughy on the inside. Every bite I wanted more. I’ll def be back!

Such a fun place! Kinda small but these guys know what they are doing! They went so fast and it was honestly so fun to just stand there and watch them work. A classic New York slice place but with thick “grandma” slices along with the regular ones. I’m gluten intolerant so I really appreciated the cauliflower crust option. They only do a personal size pizza with it but you can customize whatever toppings you want! It’s a little pricier ($15 when I went), but kinda worth it for the experience. A bit more of a wait too! No indoor seating but a few little cute outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. All in all, filled my crazing for the New York pizza experience plus some yummy pizza!
