Love this MiMi’s!! Whenever we’re in the area we enjoy! Usually breakfast, but at other time we enjoyed their fine meals. Pamela has been our server the past few times for breakfast and she always brightens our day with her shiny disposition and smile! Enjoy their house made croissant, but dont miss out on their muffins!!! Take a couple to go because they are amazing!! Enjoying one right now, even a couple days later… they are that good!!!

My wife and I stopped at Mimi’s Cafe in Peoria, Arizona—a location we’ve always enjoyed when we’re on this side of town. It had been years since our last visit, but we remembered it fondly for its charming French bistro atmosphere and consistently excellent food. In the past, the restaurant was always bustling, with service and meals that felt truly top-notch.
Unfortunately, our experience today was a letdown. The once inviting space now felt dingy and poorly maintained. The food, which we recall being made from scratch, had clearly shifted toward pre-packaged shortcuts: the chicken patties were frozen, and much of the meal seemed to come straight from a can. Although the waitstaff were friendly, the overall level of service didn’t match what we’d come to expect.
The real disappointment lies in the pricing—they still charge as if they were the upscale French bistro they once were, while the quality now feels closer to that of a cafeteria. It’s disheartening to see a place we loved decline so noticeably over the years. I sincerely hope that, someday, Mimi’s can restore the stellar reputation it once held.

Today we went to Mimis for lunch and our waitress Christina.went out of her way to talk to the chef and ask him to make the grilled ham and cheese that they had taken off the menu a few years ago. It came out perfect and tasted great. The redtaurant was very clean..Pamela checked us out and she was very nice.

Service terrible. Food good. Not enough help apparently. Waitress barely attentive. Waitress gave us wrong bill. My eyesight poor and only saw total. Waitress did catch her mistake eventually. Paid correct bill. Probably won’t return unless service improves.

Haven’t been to Mimi’s in ages.. Wanted to see if it was still as good as I remembered. Ordered the breakfast tacos, cinnamon bun, and Mac N’ Cheese.. Breakfast tacos were good and the cinnamon bun was tasty. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the shredded chicken that was on the Mac n’ Cheese. Tasted weird and wasn’t that good. Everything else was great. Will definitely be back. Service was really good too. Our server was really nice
