Love Mimi’s. Always have loved the food. It’s been a family tradition to go to Mimi’s for any sort of celebration. Always love the French dip, the chicken tenders, their sandwiches and burgers are incredible, and just overall the food is amazing. However, service was suboptimal. They could do better at serving with a smile, listening to the customers on what they want, and being on top of their responsibilities. The atmosphere was and always is amazing. Love the decorations!

Appetizer took 45 minutes to come out. Ordered the 6 Madeleine’s, which were good , but not worth the long wait . Waitress said she forgot about them. After another 30 minutes, we got our main entrees. A salad, a kids pancakes and a french dip . For it not being busy at all, the service was incredibly slow. The food was good, but nothing great. Not sure what’s happened here but this place was amazing. The service definitely needs improvement. And please clean the mens restroom, it gives park restroom vibes.

The cook working today did the Jambalaya, chicken cordonbleu, and fish & fries was all to perfection. The service was most excellent. Wyatt was very knowledgeable of the menu and beverages available. He was personable, easy to talk to, has great people skills, is very approachable, he got along with co-workers and was on top of all needs the family had. ( refils, extra napkins, the check etc…) I recommend Mimi’s Cafe. The best atmosphere, service, and great food at a fair price. I am definitely going again with friends and family.
7-4-25 family outing. Had another wonderful experience. This time, AJ was our server. He came to the table with waters. Got our drink order. Came back with napkins ( He must know we are messy eaters, lol) and was there every time we even thought of looking up for help. He was very polite and enthusiastic. The environment was perfect. Not overly busy, and it was a great choice for a great meal.

I love Mimi’s! They have the kindest staff and go above and beyond! This place is deserving of your business and you will love it here! The restaurant is clean, and typically not too busy. We had lunch at Mimi’s Cafe and had an amazing experience thanks to AJ and Griffen! Both were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Our food came out quickly and everything was exactly what we ordered. They checked in at just the right times and kept the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. I’ve been here a couple of times, I got recommended from a friend who LOVED this place, but my experience was nothing like it was pictured other than maybe good service. My server was Kelsey. She is the sweetest server I’ve ever met, and she knows the menu like the back of her hand, she answered all my questions with no hesitation. Just the kindest person ever hence why I ask for her but enough about her, this place was SO outdated. From the tables to the chairs, also why is there weird pop music in a ‘French Cafe’. The first time I was here, was great but then when I was here on Sunday 1/18/26 there was a “meeting” I guess, and the servers weren’t even allowed to go check on or greet any future tables, I could also hear the manager, I think, from where I was sitting… yelling?? Like why. who’s running this place!? When I was here tonight it was good but Kelsey apologized “just in case it would take some time for the food because the shift manager was cooking” but where are the cooks? This place is insane, I just don’t know what the GM is doing or if they are even in the building. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a ‘French Cafe’ vibe, it is NOT that. 5 stars for Kelsey and the shift lead cooking and managing in the back tonight. But not one for the restaurant or the GM.

First-Timer review here! Here are my notes:
• FOOD ~ Decent! My group had a slight issue with a meal being cold, but it was kindly made up for. I, personally, thought that the grilled cheese was dry/flimsy for the price. The tomato basil soup, however, was a great balance of sweet and acidic. Thoroughly enjoyed that.
• PRICE ~ Not.. horrible. I can understand why they would charge these prices, but the worth varies on the dish.
• SERVICE ~ We had a couple mistakes here and there, but our server was still incredibly kind. We had an accidental spill and she wiped it off with a smile– and though the order was confused a couple times, they handled it well at the end. I’m not sure what was happening in the BOH, but I’m sure they were doing the best they could since they looked understaffed?
• SETTING ~ We walked in with the place empty at around 5pm, which was odd. I’m not entirely sure why it was so quiet at normal rush hours. Butttt– they did seem more like a breakfast place, so I won’t nag on it. The ambience otherwise was nice, and the chairs were comfortable!
That’s all! If you’re looking for grandeur or a romantic sit-down, this isn’t it. But, if you want to go out on a family date for breakfast/brunch, I’d recommend it!

I used to love this restaurant in other cities before I moved. Glad to have found one. It was very good and the service was excellent.
My one complaint was the noise from customers was quite loud but what is worse is the bathroom had music playing super loud when I went to wash my hands before eating. It was borderline annoying and unnecessary as well. Some may find it hard to concentrate while in there with that.

My server, Kelsey, was friendly and attentive. The food was decent, I think for the most part it is good. I love their muffins and mimosas the most. Anyone who has had a Mimi’s muffin knows why. And they have a great selection, seasonally and all the time, of mimosas.
