The inside was decorated nicely, it was clean, the staff was pretty friendly. They serve breakfast and dinner all day. These were the entrees we had and with tip our dinner was $92! I don’t know, for ok food I thought that was a pretty penny! For the price I won’t go back I can go to cracker barrel or better breakfast club and spend almost half that and get a damn good meal! The food was good so if you’re willing to pay a pretty penny for decent food you will enjoy it.

My wife and I eat at Mimi’s in Loveland several times a year, especially when we are in the mood for comfort food. Tonight we were not disappointed. I had the meatloaf and my wife had the pot roast. Each was topped with a very savory red wine shallot sauce. Our portions were large. We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. The restaurant was adequately staffed. Service was good. We arrived just minutes before the dinner time rush. The selection of sides was good. We stayed on the lighter side and had spinach and broccoli. Both were prepared perfectly. Since it’s Fall, the muffins and such had a spiced pumpkin theme – yummy. Overall a very satisfying, affordable night out.

My daughter and I stumbled on Mimi’s today for brunch. It was so good! I had the mushroom, bacon & brie omelet. It came with seasoned potatoes that we really flavorful. It also comes with your choice of muffin that they bring before the meal. I got the buttermilk spice muffin. They serve it warm and it has little crumbles of cinnamon and sugar on top. It was the best muffin I’ve ever had! The omelet was really good too. But the most delicious dish was my daughter’s croque monsieur! It is basically a ham and swiss sandwich with mornay sauce and parmesan cheese melted on TOP!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! She had shoestring fries on the side. It was just so good!! The restaurant looks like a big southern house on the outside and inside it has New Orleans decor. We will be coming back for sure! There are so many things we want to try!

I love going to Mimi’s Cafe. Everytime I come into town I go here. If you’re looking to grab brunch this place is great. In fact it’s great anytime of day. But my preference is brunch. The mimosas are great and the food is perfect.

I have always enjoyed the French Onion Soup here and decided a chilly day was perfect to have one for lunch. The soup may have been fine but by the time I finished my portion (a bowl instead of a cup) I was unhappy that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. As always, the baked goods were tasty and a lovely addition to end the meal.
Our waitress was over worked. We had a very little wait for service and refills on coffee. The wait for our check was extreme and she never returned to process the credit card. We had to take our check up front to pay (never had that happen before).
Parking here is easy and there is easy access for wheelchairs and/or walkers, strollers or similar devices.
Overall, our visit was pleasant. Good company, conversation and food… I will stick to my original decision on volume… the portions here are good sized!

Thanksgiving meal
When we arrived we were seated on time per our reservation time of 4:45pm that we made a week in advance. We were excited to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal. We ordered and after a few minutes our waitress came back to tell us they were out of turkey. We agreed to have ham. Slightly disappointed we were thankful to eat a tasty meal. We received our food and it wasn’t even tasty. Our food did not have flavor and was bland. The sweet potatoes had a weird taste. I didn’t eat most of my plate.
In hoping the pumpkin pie would save the meal. We waited and unfortunately, it didn’t. It was frozen in the middle and had a weird texture.
I could tell the waitress was trying her best but many customers were upset and no effort was made by a manager to support the wait staff.
Our party of four left disappointed and not feeling well. We will not be back to this location and will need to think about going back to any Mimi’s. We spent good amount of money that could have been spent enjoying a better meal with higher quality food and service.

The service is just great. The food, on the other hand, is not. Bland and boring. Our server was handling a large quantity of tables with ease. She was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our drinks had different garnishes and were served in different glasses, but we had ordered the same drink. Our food was not seasoned, but was cooked reasonably well. We weren’t seated on the patio because they had to clean the tables, which we said was fine, but they asked us to sit inside anyway. No big deal, but they cleaned the tables immediately after seating us. Again, not a horrible experience, just ok.

My wife & I have previously found Mimi’s meals to be delicious. This time was no exception! I ordered a burger that offered just the ingredients I like – and chose to get an extra side (to share) of the corn chowder we knew to be yummy. She ordered the meat loaf with wine sauce, which also turned to be very tasty…..it was so nice to not only have fine dinners at a reasonable price, but also to have portions that allowed us each to take home enough to have tasty meals the next day! Our server was very personable, did respond to our refill needs, AND she processed our payment of the bill without our having to go to a cashier. We plan to go again soon!

The breakfast menu looked great but we were in the mood for an early lunch so we were pleased they were very accommodating with the lunch menu. I ordered the Hickory bacon cheeseburger and it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Mother in law had the roast turkey club and liked It as well.
I was bummed I was driving because their mimosa menu was absolutely mouth watering. The decor and theme of the restaurant are done very well, there’s a lot of character without being cheesy or cliche. Server and host staff were great. Will definitely take the short trek to the outlet mall to go again for dinner w/ the boyfriend.
