The service started off pretty rough. Place is not too busy on Wednesday evening. Had a Tuscany dish and it was horrible, came to the conclusion there was a massive amount of Rosemary seasoning. Manager and server ending up being great, changing the meal. The half chicken was a better meal choice. The desserts were good. Carrot cake bites and French bread with butter was complimentary.

They did a great job on Thanksgiving 2016. The hostess was awesome, seating us lightning fast at a booth when the place was packed. They had a delicious Thanksgiving meal at an affordable price of $18.99. This included a salad (or soup), the main course, desert, good bread and beverages. The attention, relaxed but quick serving and real smiles from our wait person and others who stopped by with water or tea or coffee refills couldn’t have been better. Though most places were/are closed on Thanksgiving and there are few options of where to go, Mimi’s did a tremendous job for everyone. I have to think they may have won a lot of new customers today who will be back! Nice job, everyone!

A meal not worth $60. Lack of seasoning and burnt gravy with the consistency of jello. At least the fries tasted ok. I DO NOT recommend this Mimi’s Cafe.

One of my stops during my road trip across the country. Stopped here for breakfast on New year’s day. The quiche was amazing. Very popular place but the service was prompt. Really great food and our server was sweet and offered opinions on her favorite items.

Delicious food. Friendly staff.

Service was a little slow but due to the waitress being on the job only a month. For the first 45 minutes we were there, she was the only person waiting on the tables and the tables filled up quickly so she was running around doing her best under the circumstances. Will definently go back.

8/10: Went there for breakfast today.

A little slow to get seated, no big deal. They weren’t really that busy, just behind on bussing tables.

Sat down, ordered our food. Breakfast was ok, average. Then……

They forgot an order of toast with a meal. We asked for the toast and the waiter said he would get it. It took a while. We were more than half way through our food when the toast arrived.

The bread for the toast was MOLDY. We noticed one large spore (see photo) and upon close inspection, there were smaller mold spores on both pieces of bread. The server didn’t come back for awhile and when he finally did he asked if we wanted the check. I said yes but showed him the toast and asked to see the manager. She was nice and looked at the picture of the toast we took. She asked if we wanted a replacement and we declined and asked for the check.

It took 10+ minutes from this point to get our check. When we finally did get the check they gave us some muffins and a they comped one meal. At least they tried to make it better.

Regardless, won’t be back. We used to live near here and at that time it was very good. Now not so much. Serving moldy bread to a customer is totally unacceptable.

Edit 8/21: in response to the Mimi response to my original post…. I did email the guest relations at the same time I posted the original review. I saw that emailing them was a “canned” response on other bad reviews. They have never emailed me back! (Hence me thinking it is a canned response). They have a response to make it seem like they care but they DO NOT reach out to customers whom email the guest relations team (or at least they didn’t in my case). Stay away from this place. There are dozens of better breakfast places.

Omg! Haven’t been here since the start of covid-19. Man, have they upped their game! Added new items, and must have really missed cooking because it tasted like they cooked it with lots of love

Horrible experience. I came here with my parents and brother/his GF for a Sunday brunch before they flew out. Getting seated was ok, but they put us at a table too small for 5 but we said it was alright as the restaurant was busy. Then, we had to wait a good 15 minutes for any server to acknowledge our presence, another 15 for drinks to come out and order, and at least 30 minutes to get food. When we did, everything was cold and/or undercooked. Cold coffee, runny eggs, gross chewy bacon, cold dry waffles and pancakes….We had to send three of the five entrees back. We were given vouchers and coupons and comped our meal, but they were already expired so no use there. I like Mimi’s, but will NEVER return to this location.

Although our waitress was sweet. Service was slooow! Our eggs were greasy, potatoes were hard! (ketchup didn’t even help) toast was burnt and Waffles seemed as though they were cooked before ordered. Cold and hard. Always happy to pay for a good meal. But this was real expensive for what we experienced. They knew it was bad. When they brought the check they gave us a free box of muffins for the wait. We will NOT return.
