My husband and I celebrated his birthday with breakfast at Mimi’s. Oscar, our waiter, was very attentive, great personality and sophisticated attitude. New breakfast menu is wonderful…chef created the perfect blend of flavors and textures to make the dishes interesting and visually pleasing. Price was very reasonable. Decor is pleasing to the eye and environment is inviting. All staff were respectful and professional.

I had heard good things about Mimi’s Cafe from a friend in Chicago. This place opened, we went to eat.

The waiter talked us into ordering the spinach/artichoke dip. It was awful. Greasy. The waiter noticed we didn’t eat it and I told him it was far from good.

There is no sense in going further. Suffice it to say that the food was so awful, we didn’t take the leftovers (most of what we ordered) home to the dog. If you want bad food, stay home and open a can of Alpo.

I had the Chicken Pot Pie I was told it was made fresh, it was pretty good for the price. Wife had the meat loaf she said it was good but on the dry side. Free bread was hard and flavorless, I’d pass. I guess we can say we trying it but I doubt we’ll go back.

Free factory made muffin mix baked in-house! This Bob Evans owned chain may be the worse impression of a real bistro I have ever seen. Large and confusing menu made up of things they don’t have a hope of preparing, Poor service, Poor food, and a complete lack of management. Over priced fast food, just horrible. Life is too short for another frikin chain restaurant. FOR-GET-IT!

Worst experience ever dining out. Food was cold, waiter was weird, rolling his eyes, manager still charged my sister for drinks. Worst birthday family lunch ever. I don’t know about the decor..but I’ll call the decor poor-fair too.

So gross will never eat at this Mimi’s again. Cheese on the french onion soup was hardly melted. Salad was blah as well. I have ate at much better Mimi locations. This one is a dud.

Mimi’s Food whether “exotic” or “comfort” based is always excellent. Their New Orleans French take on cuisine is excellent and I have yet to have a bad meal there.

One of the worst restaurants I have ate at in a while. Wont be going back. Food was not very good. Gave it 2 stars only because my wife said it was ok.

Their lunches and dinners are good, but their breakfasts (served all day) are absolutely delicious!
