This place feels less like a restaurant and more like a time machine to the worst parts of the Soviet “sovok” era, carefully preserved for future generations of «bydlo». Authentic Georgian hospitality? Sakartvelo flavors? Nope — those got lost somewhere around 1983 and never made it back.
I’ve been here twice for birthday celebrations (yes, twice — hope really does die last). Both times I left with the same unforgettable souvenir: a strong “someone just puked on my soul” feeling.
Don’t let the words “dance floor” and “live music” fool you. This isn’t entertainment — it’s more like auditions for Fight Club: Drunk Edition. If you’ve been training MMA and want to test your skills against aggressive competitors fueled by bad vibes and alcohol (allowed to bring), congratulations — Gladiator you’ve found your arena.
P.S. Watch your kids/spouses carefully when they bring out the open-fire dishes (check the videos). One wrong move and your birthday dinner turns into a live-action fireworks. God forbid someone spills that flaming liquid on you or your loved ones.

This is the place you must try. We had my mom’s 70th B-day party and we can’t wish to be at a better place than Mimino. Place was lovely with live music, staff was welcoming, pleasant and their service and food was outstanding. Georgie was extremely helpful, he went above and beyond to make sure our guests were fully satisfied with fresh food and amazing service they provided. We’re definitely going back for our next event.

First, a disclaimer – our visit was on Sat when the whole restaurant was booked for banquets. So that probably skewed our experience. Was quite noisy, so I’d suggest be careful when planing to visit if you want to have a nice dinner or romantic evening.
I’d agree with many reviews, service was outstanding, and owner did stop by to check on us, nice of him.
Food (as mentioned, this was banquet, so pre-ordered) was OK. Liked khachapuri, eggplant with walnuts was excellent. The rest of salads was ok-ish, and so to our surprise was kebabs. I’ve had better, not that juicy, overcooked maybe?
Desert ( tiramisu, napoleon ) was quite good.

Absolutely delicious and incredibly hospitable!! The potatoes with garlic, the chicken and lamb shishkabobs with meat sauce, the pickled platter, everything was so great food-wise and the service and atmosphere are wonderful! I absolutely recommend this restaurant as a banquet hall option or just for a fun night out.

We received a dinner with my husband at this restaurant as a gift from the owner Georgiy, as we won a lottery from the Charity Event through US Stands with Ukraine.
We were greeted with friendliness and warmth. We have tried a lot of different traditional Georgian food that we enjoyed. My top favorite was Khachapuri Imeruli.
We also enjoyed club music that put us into dancing. The atmosphere was spacious and nice. We look forward to visiting again.
