Love this place! Been here a couple times prior of writing this review. I tried the beef noodle soup, pork chop rice, and popcorn chicken. These are the popular dishes and these are delicious! The only reason I gave it 4/5, because one time I tried the garlic chicken w/ rice, and I was not expecting it to be a cold dish.. and I did have a stomach issue that night… but as long you order the popular dishes, I think you will enjoy this place!

They have taiwanese cold noodle here, not bad. Also wintermelon tea.
They usually have a buy one get one free deal for several drinks, my friends usually get that.
The staff is nice.
The popchicken is alright, wont recommend that much.
My friend order the combination , the meat portion is big.

My favorite Taiwanese comfort food spot ❤️ The menu has changed slightly since the last time I came (years ago, pre-pandemic), but the prices are still very reasonable and the food is outstanding. My friend, however, ordered dandan noodles and was unhappy to discover that it was salty beyond belief, nearly to the point of being inedible. I’m not sure if that’s always how they make their dandan noodles, but a word of warning to those who can’t tolerate or eat too much salt!!

Traditional Taiwanese food served with warm service!

Returning back to the area, I was craving some authentic Taiwanese food…something that would take me back to the night markets of Taipei. I think this may be that spot. It was clear to me some folks regularly visit this spot, because many patrons walked in, and were greeted with a “your usual?”. This warmth in my opinion adds to the authentic Taiwanese flavor and overall ambiance.

We went with the stinky tofu w/ Taiwanese sausage, the Dan Dan noodles, and the braised pork belly set with rice, spicy tofu, and vegetables.

The stinky tofu and Taiwanese sausage was AMAZING. It’s not something I would recommend if you’re NOT a fan of this pungent yet delicious food, but if you are a fan like myself, this place does a good job with it! It is good as it comes, but I would recommend adding some extra hot sauce on the pickled cabbage for a bit more kick.

The braised pork belly combination won my heart. I mean, it was soaked in a rich broth and paired with bamboo. It was absolutely mouth-watering. The fatty pork belly was true to it’s name and absolutely melted in my mouth. The flavors were bold, rich, and perfect with a spoonful of white rice.

I know a few people have spoken highly about the Dan Dan noodles, and they weren’t bad, but to be honest, not my favorite, subjectively.

We will be back!! I truly love this little mom and pop restaurant and I sincerely want to try every single item on the menu to see if it’ll transport me back to the humid streets of Taipei.

Good food, soups are great. They need a LB location so I won’t have to bring my gf all the way here all the time lol. My Gf loves the stinky tofu.

This resturant has relatively fast service. The portion is decent. The food is really good. They serve a lot of different Taiwanese snack. It a good place for easy lunch, plus they have combo throughout the week. Inexpensive and delicious.

This is a small Taiwanese diner with lots of options—beef noodles, pork chop rice, and even stinky tofu, which I tried. Authentic flavors and definitely worth a visit!

Very yummy food and great service. Menu in english and chinese, very polite crew and delicous food. Been eating here for the past 2 years, never had a bad experience. They have great specials for lunch.
They are located in between Pizza Hut and JJ Bakery if you are in the mood of some desert 🙂

When I get the craving for some yummy Taiwanese food, this where I go for the fix. Stinky tofu is kind of soggy but it’s as close as it gets.
