Looking at the reviews I was anticipating a great meal but rather I’m sorry to say that this food is not it. The rice wasn’t good and didn’t have any salt. Furthermore, this was supposed to be Diri Djon Djon but this was likely with Maggi Djon Djon which isn’t real Djon Djon, and it doesn’t taste good. The chicken was terrible and had no flavor. This tasted like Frozen Haitian food that’s been sitting for weeks.

Honestly, I’m not sure if I came on a bad day or at an off-time, but my first experience here genuinely made me feel like the positive reviews are misleading.
The rice was completely unsalted. The meat tasted and looked like-picked-over scraps, drenched in old oil. And the sauce on the side was so rancid it made me gag. Like I had to take it out my house because I didn’t want the smell to linger.
It felt more like leftovers than a prepared meal, not at all what the glowing reviews suggested. DO NOT FALL FOR THE REVIEWS.

From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.
I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.
You can tell Mily truly cares about her customers and takes pride in every dish she serves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was personal, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! If you’re in the area please come check her out!

The food is amazing. The portions are friendly. Order Karbit which is fried goat, and the portion of karbit was substantial. No Haitian restaurant gives as much goat as they do. And the flavor is phenomenal.

Came here from Google reviews and it did not disappoint. I was greeted by Mily herself. When my food came out, she was kind enough to put a couple of extras so I can try other things that my plate didn’t come with (mac n cheese is chefs kiss). I definitely recommend to try this little spot out and get some good eats. I’ll be back!!!
