Service at Milwaukee Grill was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly, on point, and timely. My son and I ordered tap beer, which are offered in two sizes and came nice and cold. I was attracted to Milwaukee Grill by their Haystack Onion appetizer. It didn’t disappoint and was very tasty. Appetizers also come in two sizes, small plate and large plate, and we ordered large plate. Goodness it was a HUGE amount. Cheese curd large plate was a normal amount. Both items were excellent. My son had a cheeseburger. He was not impressed by the quality. I stuck to appetizers and drinks, which were great.

Wow! We absolutely loved this place! The food was so good. We started with the cheese curds. Temperature was a little cooler than I think it should have been, but still good. Then hubby had clam chowder and a rueben. He says 10/10 on the chowder and 7/10 for rueben. I had the burrito. It came with black beans and corn cake. Amazing! Wish we lived close as we would probably be regulars.

We were really looking forward to dining in your restaurant. I called a few days prior to see about reserving a table. The hostess said they don’t accept reservations, and inquired what time we’d be coming. We were going to be a party of 8 coming from IL & Madison. So 2 families meeting half way, celebrating a birthday. The hostess said if we arrived around 5p, that was right around when they’d start to get busy and we should be fine. As soon as we walked in, the hostess asked if we’d sit outside. She had 2 tables of 4 that she easily could have accommodated us with. She refused to do so. Said our wait would be 45 minutes! Literally didn’t seem to care at all if we dined there. We went to a Mexican Restaurant and they gladly accommodated us. We had a great meal, and they appreciated our business. Your hostess could have tried to seat us, but instead she made us feel like our business wasn’t important.

Stopped on our way through the area, and will definitely come back. It was some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. The service was great and there were so many things on the menu that I wanted to eat, had the Asiago Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans My husband had the Asiago Penne with grilled chicken and it was so tender it melted in your mouth.

The food is absolutely delicious! I usually get the streak and I really enjoy the fried onions that come with it. The atmosphere is pretty good but this place gets very busy so it’s best to pick your time to go. The only reason I’m giving them 4 instead of 5 starts is because the wait staff can sometimes be hit or miss. Some great waiters, but then you will occasionally get a waiter who you can tell doesn’t want to be there. Besides that, it’s one of the best restaurants in Janesville!!!

My daughter claims they have the best salmon ever! Service was good, bathrooms are nice. Food was delicious BUT.. I had a steak salad and they grilled the onions; it just didn’t really do it for me. Would be better raw on a salad in my opinion. Bread and cheese curds were delicious. The sugar rim on the blood orange margarita was disappointing, but taste was good. The brandy Old fashion sweet was on point. Will definitely visit again and try other items next time we are in the area.
