Don’t let that classic, east coast fish house restaurant fool you. This is a tasty and affordable fish n chips shop. Everything is made fresh, hand battered to order. And in today’s high cost of living, it’s nice to get a fish and chips meal at a reasonable price.

Owner does the cooking himself for lunch & will have extra hands for dinner so best to call & place your order. Fish were done hot and crispy. Pay with either cash or debit as he says credit will charge 2-3% extra. Overall good fish & chips

i’ve been to many heritage fish and chips locations, but Milton tops them all! This location is family run by the most friendly people. The atmosphere is so welcoming and clean. The service is fast, without compromising the taste. My husband adores their haddock, it is so light and perfectly crisp. I personally adore their poutine!

Quite a disappointment, the restaurant seems to have changed owners and it shows . It has become a takeout only place with the fixings – no freshly made tartar sauce, packaged condiments and takeaway bags ! Fish as well as chips are below mediocre .

I absolutely loved the food at this fish and chip shop! The taste was out of this world, a solid five stars. The fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were mouthwatering. The onion rings were spectacular. However, I have to admit that the ambiance of the shop left something to be desired. It’s a bit grimy and dated, but honestly, the incredible flavors of the food more than make up for it. A total colesterol festival. If you’re in it for the taste, this place is a must-visit!

Delicious lunch special – haddock. Battered fresh right in front of you. Fries freshly cut, thicker English chippie style, fried fresh per order right in front of you as well. Put in takeout box fresh out of the fryer. No waiting under heat lamps..there are none. Arrives blistering hot.
As can be seen in the photos, the batter is extraordinarily crispy and just shatters when bite into. Light flaky white fish. No fry oil taste. Premium vegetable oil is used and on display in crates. Paper takeout box had just a few spots of oil in it.
Coleslaw flavourful. Appreciate tartar sauce and malt vinegar.
Premises exceptionally clean. Appreciate having a chair for seniors to sit down on, although the wait is only the time it takes to cook your food fresh.
Extremely reasonable prices. Friendly, efficient service.

$20 for what i received…mixed response….fish was alright tasting except the quantity i received….the chips filled in the gap. 2 packs of tartar he charges you a buck for extra packets/each and I also received no ketchup! when paying I like using credit he dosen’t have that ..just debt and cash ,asked why…he responded charges to much ….I’m pretty sure Ive been to smaller businesses then this and they even had credit to pay with.

If you’re looking for a local fish and chips place after Heritage Fish and Chips closed down, look to this place.
There’s only one gentleman working there but he was very nice and efficient. I recommend the lunch special which is available until 3pm (Haddock and chips only)
Despite there being no sit-down table service, it’s still a great place for takeout and convenient.The fish is lightly battered (which is an issue in many other fish and chips places) and then is golden fried to perfection. Furthermore, the batter is very flavourful and the fish is very moist and not dry at all. It’s perfect.
The chips are also unsalted which is not a problem because they offer salt and vinegar or just use whatever you have at home.
This will be our new fish and chips place from now and we’ll be happily coming back.
