There truly is no place better than Milo’s City Cafe!
The crab eggs Benedict is always outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — and the sourdough French toast is just as incredible with that perfect crisp outside and soft, warm center.
A special shoutout to Alberto for his consistently excellent customer service. He is always so kind, welcoming, and friendly — he makes you feel like family every time you walk through the door.

Hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had! The flavors were incredible, fresh, and full of love in every bite. On top of that, the service was beyond amazing. What really stood out was the owner personally coming by to check up on me and make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their place. That kind of hospitality is rare these days. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to all my friends!

We stopped in while visiting Portland and were staying at a hotel near the convention center wanting something with a local feel. Milo’s didn’t disappoint! Absolutely wonderful!
The Monte Cristo was incredibly tasty and the breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection. Our server suggested we try ‘the best bacon ever’—and while I’m not sure it was, it was certainly top tier. She also suggested we try the house-made hot sauce, which was a beautiful addition to the meal.
Fantastic neighborhood feel with a broad cross-section of people—from young families with little ones to older folks—making it feel like a real local gem.
Best part was the service… truly exceptional. Our server was a darling, and the rest of the team was just as attentive, checking on our coffee, water glasses and clearing tables.
Bonus Tip: our server mentioned they recently added an evening service (Sabor Latino) with a completely different Mexican/Peruvian menu and live jazz on Saturdays. Definitely will check iit out on our next visit to the area.

Very pleasant atmosphere, and incredibly delicious food! Their Blackstone Benedict was 10/10! Delicious combo of grilled tomato and thick bacon. Very friendly staff and well-maintained dining area. Definitely stop by here for breakfast if you haven’t been or you’re looking for somewhere good on a trip to Portland.

The Oyster Benedict was fantastic as was the Crab Cake Benedict. My partner said the bloody mary was really good.

I had the soup of the day which was chicken tortilla and a salad. The soup was so good that I got a bowl to go for later. The service was great. I really didn’t like they’re ranch dressing and I think they should look into getting a different brand or making it homemade as it has a plastic taste. Everything made there was great tho!

I hadn’t been here in a number of years but it still had the same friendly vibe from the staff. The prices mostly average around $20 a meal (breakfast, brunch or lunch). I had Eggs Florentine and was told they had “the best Benedicts” in town. I’ve had this in the past and enjoyed it more last time. One of my English muffins was burned badly on about a 1/3 of it. That and the fatty bacon with burnt ends gave one half of my Benedict an overpowering burnt flavor which was quite disappointing. The hollandaise was excellent with a nice boost in the lemon flavor. Eggs were cooked perfectly. So, I’d say this was a 3 out of 5 but would have been a 5 out of 5 if the bacon wasn’t burnt, was less fatty and the muffin wasn’t blackened.
On a better note, my wife really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. I had a bite and especially liked the strawberry and maple syrup choices and it was a perfectly cooked waffle. The chicken was pretty chewy – possibly because I had a bit of an end piece. The service is eclectic and attentive. Nice folks!

I had pretty high expectations for this place. The server was AMAZING, but the portion sizes were so small for how much you pay. The taste was pretty good. The pancakes were dense. I won’t be coming back but I am glad I at least tried this place.

Cute place that’s open early. Very nice wait staff – immediately got me coffee. Had the Mediterranean Scramble with potatoes and an English muffin. Coffee strong and tasty -and frequently refilled! Eggs included feta, spinach, onion and tomato and were very tasty. I recommend this place for early risers or folks like me who dropped someone off at the airport. Oh, the restroom was very clean and modern.
