Was seated in 5 minutes upon arrival, waitress was friendly and attentive. However, the kitchen was behind. We sat for over an hour without food. Our waitress reassured us that it would be a few more minutes multiple times. Tables filled after us were served before us. When we had enough and were about to pay for our drinks and walk out. We were told 10 more minutes. We arrived at 10:45 am and received no food until 12:27 pm. Kitchen service has never been this bad in the 11 years I have lived in the area!

I wouldn’t be so annoyed with my order being wrong if I wasn’t being swarmed by flies the entire time my wife and I were there. Not having flies in my face and on my food should be the bare minimum for cleanliness. Why there are so many 5 star reviews is beyond me.

Always friendly, fast and attentive service. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. The tomato soup at Millstone is to die for. We were here tonight. Our service was amazing as usual. What stood out to me was the amazing customer service provided to a different table. A table of four arrived a little after us. They were sat right behind us. As we were enjoying our meal we constantly heard them complain about everything. One of them went as far as making a condescending comment to the waiter. The waiter remained cool, calm and collected and kept serving with the same awesome friendly service he had prior. I commend that waiter because although those people were just difficult customers.. he remained cool and continued doing his job phenomenally. Millstone is a great spot to go to if you’re new in town. They will make you feel welcomed.

The biscuits and gravy were very good. The hot meat loaf was great As well.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Two eggs, rye toast and a cup of tea made up a nice made to order breakfast. The restaurant was overflowing with hungry locals but our service was great and fast – these days that’s hard to find. The meal was $6.
