I bought a little bit of everything. The cherry pie was excellent. They have their own root beer that can be purchased by the gallon. The only sandwich I didn’t care for was the shredded chicken. Too much fill. Every thing else was good.

The ONLY reason 4 stars is because they accept cash only which, in a world quickly going digital only, seems bad for business. Other than that, i love the food and service here. They even have car hops! I highly recommend their house made root beer and shredded chicken!

I have loved coming to this place since I was a kid. We come back to visit with family and had to go. We had a big order and were so excited to eat. Then when we got there we saw the sign of cash only. Since we are from out of town it would not be easy to get cash quickly and cheaply. So we had to drive away. I love the old school feeling, but they need to get into the 21st century and take credit cards. I know it is more expensive for them, but I wonder how much money they miss out on like us.

This is the place that I remember my Grandma taking me more than any place in Bucyrus. I really like the burgers and the Root Beer Malts are my favorite ever! I love the root beer malts so much that I created a identical recipe at home! It tastes the exact same. I can make one when they aren’t open.
