Stopped in for rootbeer floats and cheese fries (girl dinner haha). Service was amazing! You never know when you have young kids working fast food but they were friendly, polite and attentive. Food was perfect. The fries were literally cooked exactly how I like them, crispy and not soft in the middle. The rootbeer floats were perfection. Who doesn’t like a float in a mug? We usually go to Richmond but a neighbor mentioned there was one much closer. So glad we found it!

This place never disappoints! As a relic of the 1950s, the Dog N Suds Drive In is classic Americana. It is a burger and hotdog place with car-side service. There are speakers at each of the parking spots which allow you to order your food. Soon after, your server will bring your order to your car window on a tray. You need to have your window up enough that the tray can hook over the top of the glass without slipping off.
Kids meals come in a cute cardboard classic car box. I believe the kids meals have a special discount on Wednesday evenings.
The drive in hosts different events throughout the season like car shows and Jeep meet ups. It’s always fun to drive by and see all of the classic cars lined up.
There are picnic tables located along the side of the parking lot which allows for anyone walking up to also enjoy some food.
Try the Coney dog and a growler of root beer!

Ordered for delivery. Coney cheese dog came with one small line of coney sauce. I don’t think I have ever had a dry hotdog before until today. Same with the Texas burger. The bun was stale. One quarter size amount of coney sauce in the middle and without sufficient condiments, you really tasted the meat patties which are 100% soy burgers, like we had in middle school. For almost 100.00, this is a pass. Sorry to say. Wish they would do better!

Dogs n suds is awesome a cool spot aesthetically makes you really feel like your back in 60s when car hops were all the rage the service and the food are fantastic noticed some people are complaining about price I got 2 hot dogs a burger an order of fries and 2 drinks for $23 that is so cheap in today’s economy the char burger is fantastic and the hot dogs are good really cool spot highly recommend

Had their equivalent of a chili dog, it was good but I wish it would have been a chili dog. Saw a 1950s and 60s band called Tony and the Affects and some classic cars and hotrods. All in all it was a good time.

Good hot dogs and burgers, root beer, and good service. The prices are OK, about $10/person. You can eat in your car, with the tray clipped on the window, or art the picnic tables with the scooterists. I had a foot long, 1/4 lb Coney dog,and it was delicious.

Decent Chicago dogs which I’ve gotten a few times. OK fried mushrooms. Got a cheesecake shake and it mostly tasted like plain vanilla and when I got to the bottom there were “cheesecake” bits that didnt really taste like much of anything, but had cheesecake texture. The staff is always great and the atmosphere is right on. I’d like to try the green olive burger as that has the opportunity to be amazing, but I always just end up getting the reliable Chicago dog. The old fashioned car side ordering is great as well.

Great food and fun family atmosphere! I’ve been bringing my 16 year old here since he was a toddler and he still loves his footling Coney Dog. We don’t even live in the area anymore but we come here whenever we get the chance.
