Don’t let the vintage walk up service take away from the excellent Barbecue at this location.
I had the jumbo pork sandwich. The barbecue was fresh and smoky. The sauce was on point. Anytime you get a sandwich wrapped in wax paper, you know it’s gonna be good. Friendly service and I’ll be back.

It was an amazing experience, the food was great. There are TONS of options and the atmosphere is nice. It feels like a bodega in Alabama in the form of a local legend restaurant. There’s also cats to help add to that element! If you’re in town, or even just a local of Talladega id highly recommend. I don’t even live here and would make the drive when I can. Keep up the good work guys!

I’ve gone to this location for years, the food is exactly what you’re expecting. Great barbecue at a great price, I’ve always ordered takeout I’ve never sat outside and ate but it doesn’t much matter to me still pretty stellar. If you’re looking for something easy to order in and pick up I would highly recommend.

When I work in Talladega and want BBQ this is where I go. The food, that I have tried, is outstanding. The building is not the most attractive and you can only eat outside if you eat there, but to grab and go I don’t think you can beat it. I just ordered a regular BBQ sandwich with a cup of ice and it was about $6.
