It gets busy and the parking is narrow and small.

The cheese tarts at the best! Worth the hassle in the driveway.

Bring cash and jump the line. Freshly baked and sliced bread, too. If you aren’t going to additionally stop down the road at Hershbergers, they also have delicious donuts and cookies.

If you are looking for a true Amish experience, you can rent the cabin houses out back.

We usually go to Herschbergers and unfortunately they were closed. Down the road we saw the sign for Millers bakery so we stopped in. We bought a raspberry tart and a pecan tart. Oh my goodness!! They were delicious. I highly reccomend. We also bought fry pies that were so yummy. The cinnamon raisin bread was fresh, flavorful and so good. I highly recommend Millers bakery!!

I swear I gain 5 pounds with the first wiff as soon as I walk in.Their Baked goods are home-made fresh daily. If you go late in the day there’s not much left. Everything is larger than normal except the price. They just started accepting credit cards, and of course cash. They also make home-made candy, and have their own line of canned food.
And they also have 4 small cabins to rent very rustic(no electricity or running water) wood burner for heat.

Cheese tarts are amazing. Friendly helpful patient staff. Also purchased a raspberry pie. I am a pretty good cook and baker but this pie was the best I’ve ever had. Crust was flaky and a perfect addition to the almost 2 inch tall pie. Delicious! Also recommend the fried pies. Great glazed crust filled with ample fruit. I highly recommend this stop if you’re visiting the area. Well worth your time and money.

An absolutely must go to if you’re out in Ohio Amish country. We ended up turning the car around and going back after eating the goodies we bought. The cheese tarts are excellent. We tried just about every flavor. I loved the apple. I would’ve liked to have tried the plain but I guess they were out by the time we got there. And my husband got a piece of what I think was pumpkin cake? Anyway, it was delicious.

I used to love this bakery until I started to notice they became dishonest with their pricing. The loaf of bread says $3.49, they charge you $3.95. They wrote 2x$2.49 for two donuts on the box, they charge 2x$2.65. Discounted donuts say $4.99 on the package, they charged $7.81. Every single item I purchased they increased the price at checkout. This wasn’t a credit purchase. I paid in cash. I noticed when I got in the car. I didn’t bother going back in because I don’t intend on coming back ever. Their bakery might be good but their morals are poor. There are plenty of other businesses to give my money to. They should be ashamed that they are skimming and cheating customers. I’m sure the IRS will be interested in their skimming off the top.

Staying in the cabin for the weekend was so refreshing getting away from our busy lives! My husband and I had a wonderful weekend all to ourselves. Next time we would love to bring our children so they could experience it also. The service is also wonderful. Everything in the bakery is baked fresh daily and is so delicious!!!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: 12/30/24: visited yesterday and they NOW ACCEPT CREDIT & DEBIT. No more only cash.

Someone posted 2 weeks ago complaining about the apple fritters. I took pics of the “thin” apple fritters. These were at least 1 1/2” thick, in middle a bit puffier and about 6” across. The long John’s about 7”. Not small.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Millersburg, you MUSTMUSTMUST, stop at this bakery. it is hugely popular. their products are double the size of any other donut shop or bakery. donuts with filling—-are filled one end to the other or the complete middle. NOT like other commercial donut shops that fill at the openings and the whole middle is empty. Of just in middle. Well worth the money, which compared to a lot of shops are even cheaper. Not to mention, so yummmmmmmy.

We had read reviews about how good this was and I assure you it is worth the trip out to the country. Cinnamon rolls, filled donuts, apple fritters all the size of small dinner 0lates. Same with the cookies.
