The shrimp dish unfortunately lacked flavor. The presentation was solid, but it needed more seasoning and depth. For a seafood plate, I expected more punch. It felt a little flat and underwhelming.
Now the redemption arc: the Captain Jack dessert and Boom Boom ice cream were outstanding. Rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The texture, sweetness level, and overall flavor profile were on point. That dessert alone makes the visit worth it.
Service and ambiance were enjoyable, but the shrimp needs attention. If the kitchen brings the same energy to the savory dishes that they do to dessert, this place would be hard to beat.
We ordered pan fried potstickers 2.5/5, MiMi’s Fiesta Bowl 4/5, chicken wings 4/5, zingers and ribs (ribs 4.5/5 and zingers 3/5), and Zingers 3/5.
Adequate draft beer selection. Nice touch with blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis.
Food came out fast and it was good.
Nice ambiance, plenty of parking and loved the Halloween decore.
This place was fantastic. The staff super friendly. Not often in these places do people recommend the food. Dan was on point. Not only did he have great recommendations but super attentive. The bar was packed but these guys always smiling and having what appeared to be treat yah like family.
The food was quick, hot and delicious.
It says a lot as I watch so many people eating food.
I definitely recommend coming to see them.
By the way if you like football they have a ton of TVs with ever game on and they will ask you what you want to watch.
There is a tablet on every table, we mistakenly thought it was the menu and tapped it and was charged $2.99 extra.
The tablet is to play games at the table. We are in our late 40s so not really into playing games at the dinner table.
We asked the waitress what the extra charge was when we received the bill, and she told us it was for the tablet.
We said we didn’t do anything on it and she just said “sorry”.
There should be a notice on the tablet that you will be charged for it.
