Visited Ale Miller House recently and had a mixed experience.

The shrimp dish unfortunately lacked flavor. The presentation was solid, but it needed more seasoning and depth. For a seafood plate, I expected more punch. It felt a little flat and underwhelming.

Now the redemption arc: the Captain Jack dessert and Boom Boom ice cream were outstanding. Rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The texture, sweetness level, and overall flavor profile were on point. That dessert alone makes the visit worth it.

Service and ambiance were enjoyable, but the shrimp needs attention. If the kitchen brings the same energy to the savory dishes that they do to dessert, this place would be hard to beat.

Great place to watch a game. Normal sports bar ambiance. Large TVs just about anywhere. We ate here twice, once at a table and once at the bar. The table service is a bit spotty. Bar service is very good and friendly.

We ordered pan fried potstickers 2.5/5, MiMi’s Fiesta Bowl 4/5, chicken wings 4/5, zingers and ribs (ribs 4.5/5 and zingers 3/5), and Zingers 3/5.

Adequate draft beer selection. Nice touch with blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis.

Nearest restaurant to our hotel that offered a veggie burger, so we stopped in. It was decent, had good flavor, nothing spectacular, but filling and tasty. The fries were good too. I think we had to ask for ketchup though. The place was mostly empty so there was no wait time to get a table, and when it came time to pay the bill and get a takeaway box we had to get up and go track down our waiter, who it seemed like he was training someone new in the back. He apologized for not being attentive and helped us out. All in all, a clean, nice place for a vegan and vegetarian to get a good meal.

I had dinner at Miller’s Ale House and really enjoyed it. The grilled Atlantic salmon was cooked perfectly, moist, flavorful, and nicely seasoned. It paired well with the creamy mashed potatoes and the fresh vegetable medley. I also tried a glass of whiskey sour and a pitcher of mojito, both well mixed and refreshing. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent food and drinks. I will definitely be back!

We go there often prior to our cruise and always have a great time and great service. Food was great! Thank you Arthur who we know each time we cruise. He must work 7 days a week Nice selection of beers and delicious Big Red Chicken Sandwich.

Nice place, with a good menu. Its a little tucked away but easy to get to. The place is hospitable and comfortable. The service at the bar was slow. While waiting for my food I went to the washroom and when I got back my plate was there cooling off open in the bar. The waitress didn’t wait until I got back to present the plate. So that dropped the ratings down. The food was good though.

We went here last at night, their kitchen is open late and we were so thankful to get some good food. We got to sit right away at the bar and ordered a few sandwiches. The staff was great and friendly. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. The cake was amazing!

Great find for a late night dinner. Sat at the bar where we were greeted by Clay and Arthur. Super nice guys and they kept an eye on all of us at the bar.
Food came out fast and it was good.
Nice ambiance, plenty of parking and loved the Halloween decore.

I have to say. I came down to this area for work for a few weeks. I like beer houses normally.
This place was fantastic. The staff super friendly. Not often in these places do people recommend the food. Dan was on point. Not only did he have great recommendations but super attentive. The bar was packed but these guys always smiling and having what appeared to be treat yah like family.
The food was quick, hot and delicious.
It says a lot as I watch so many people eating food.
I definitely recommend coming to see them.
By the way if you like football they have a ton of TVs with ever game on and they will ask you what you want to watch.

Food was great, service ok but whatever you do, DON’T TAP THE TABLET!
There is a tablet on every table, we mistakenly thought it was the menu and tapped it and was charged $2.99 extra.
The tablet is to play games at the table. We are in our late 40s so not really into playing games at the dinner table.
We asked the waitress what the extra charge was when we received the bill, and she told us it was for the tablet.
We said we didn’t do anything on it and she just said “sorry”.
There should be a notice on the tablet that you will be charged for it.
