We had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were told they were short-staffed, which we completely understand. However, the issue was that one member of our party uses a wheelchair, and we were not accommodated.
We requested a regular table inside because high-top tables are not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. The manager told us they were short-staffed and that the waitress couldn’t walk a few extra steps to serve the table we were requesting. Essentially, we were denied seating because accommodating a wheelchair would have required minimal additional effort.
We then asked if we could sit outside instead, but we were also denied due to “lack of staff” — even though there were already people dining at outdoor tables. That made the situation even more confusing and concerning.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required to provide equal access and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Accessibility is not a special request — it is a legal and basic right. Being short-staffed should not be used as a reason to deny service to someone because they use a wheelchair.
We left feeling embarrassed, excluded, and unwelcome. We hope management reevaluates their policies and staff training to ensure they are compliant with ADA requirements and treat all guests with dignity and respect.
My visit was on March 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET.

We had a great meal with good service by Haley. The shrimp dish was excellent. The atmosphere was sporty and we could watch Sunday Night Football. The option to purchase a bottle of wine was convenient.

Manager was helping the servers bring out orders and asking if we needed anything. Waitress was very attentive. Ribeye steak and wings were great. Tried and much enjoyed the cheese fries.

My wife and I enjoyed our meals very much. I had the fish with house made chips and my wife had the chicken fajitas ️, both delicious! Our experience was enhanced by our server Vivian who was attentive, patient and cheerful. We came in from Saint Augustine and are looking forward to our next visit. Recommend to any and all!

My husband’s meal was good. The server was kind and polite. My food wasn’t good. The meal that I ordered had a side, my side order was a simple backed potato. The first potato was cold when it was delivered to our table. I thought maybe it was due to the sprinkle of cheese, cold butter and sour cream. Well, the potato was cold from the top, through the middle to the bottom. Our server suggested another potato, this time it was warm, and only cooked on the top layer surface.
The burger wasn’t seasoned and certainly wasn’t hot. The server came back as he noticed that I wasn’t able to finish the meal. He offered something else’s I kindly declined. He asked why..I whispered my reasons. He apologized and took it back to the 2 cooks and their manager. We were seated near the bar and kitchen area, the two cooks and manager were discussing the issue loudly and very unprofessional stating that the burger was seasoned while making unprofessional comments. I could hear and see them. Our server apologized and removed my meal. To the server thank you for kindness and to the manager, your actions could have been better. You could have come to our table to discuss instead you discussed it with your employees. Do better Mr Manager.

This was the second time we’ve gone to Miller’s. We got a table immediately, our server was nice but wasn’t very attentive. I ordered the fish & chips this time, the fries were good but the fish was greasy & had ZERO seasoning. My daughter had the shrimp scampi pasta, she said it was basically boiled shrimp with pasta cheese & broccoli. No one in our party ordered alcohol so I can’t say anything on that but the sweet tea wasn’t very sweet & didn’t taste much like tea, mostly water.

Omgsh, this place is so yummy and the prices are pretty great for the amount of food you get! The mozzarella cheese sticks are amazing and super cheesy! Also, their zingers were so yummy! The burger was great! The zingers Mountain thing was great as well! The zingers Macaroni was very yummy as well! I love that they have so many sauces to choose from as well. Great selection! The chicken nachos had one downfall (I listed it down below) but other than that they were really good and the cheese sauce was super yummy!
My last server was amazing and she was on top of everything. I wished I could remember her name for my review. But my first waitress she forgot to bring me things and check on us ..but she had a good personality.
I’ve already gone there twice this week! My friend recommended it and then I went with my Husband. He was equally impressed.. now the kids want to go as well! The only complaint was that the shredded chicken on the nachos .. they didn’t put that much chicken with it and I recommend they dice the chicken.. because the shredded takes away from the taste.

Surprised? I was. Though I’ve eaten at Miller’s Ale House in both Jacksonville, Orlando and Ocala, I guess I was expecting, well, not what we got. What’d we get you ask? A really good Bowl with grilled Salmon, cilantro rice, tomato, pickled onion (yum), lettuce and a green sauce and a salmon-colored sauce – I can’t recall the names but it added a great flavor. I can’t do spicy, and I didn’t. Not to say it was well flavored, it was. I have had mixed experience with ‘bowls’; wonderful to so awful I couldn’t even eat it (awful was at a local Gainesville Cuban place founded in Alachua). There are two bowl or wrap places in town where you walk down a bar and they offer choices depending on what you ordered. Those are both good. A local restaurant, a big chain type in front of Oaks Mall, always serves decent food but the Mediterranean Bowl, although pretty good does not even hold a candle to Millers Ale House bowl. The restaurant is on Archer Road in the convenient Celebration/Bass Pro area of/next to Butler Plaza (BP is a warren of roads, stores, offices, eateries, even high end clothing. I avoid it at all costs!) did I mention service. Our ‘girl’ was very attentive, got things right the first time and brought our victuals surprisingly fast given the 7 of us ordered a variety of meals – just sorry I didn’t get her name. One last thing- it was NOT so loud you couldn’t even talk, unlike many other places.
Bottom Line: ✅yummy, ✅easy, ✅delicious? yep. yep. yep.

Honestly hate giving this high of a rating for a chain, but our bartender was very nice and the weather was excellent when we went. The wings came out great and all the food came out on time. Love the beer selection!

I took my mother here while visiting her in Gainesville. She was hungry for a Steak and this place came up in our search.
We decided to give them a try and it was the best decision we made. She had the Prime Rib Steak and said it was one of the best steaks She’s had in a long time. She’s 94 years old and usually don’t like anything this was a huge win!
I had the Buffalo Shrimp and a Ceasar Salad. The Buffalo Shrimp were delicious and had the perfect heat.
We had the Prickly Pear Margaritas and a Arnold Palmer which both were very refreshing.
Our server Noah was very nice, patient and attentive. He provided excellent service.
Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and will definitely be back.
