Our food arrived pretty fast and was hot and quite delicious. I had their classic cheese burger, which included the usual lettuce and tomato (which was also very fresh-nothing was wilted or gross looking) and a side of fries. I’ve become quite picky about French fries, and these were really good.
In spite of the current state of our economy, the food was reasonably priced. The value for the money was good. The atmosphere was also nice and the men’s room was clean.
I would definitely come back here with friends and family. Thank you, Miller’s Ale House, for a good evening out with my friend.

Thanks so much to the owner for replying to my review. Being in retail myself, I or my employer try to reply to all reviews as much as possible. Your response was very much appreciated.
If you’re heading to Miller’s Ale House in Commack, do yourself a favor: skip the hostess’s first available seating and wait for Bill. Seriously. In a world of “fine” service, Bill is the Gold Standard.
Here is why you need to request him:
He Really Fits the Bill: From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. He doesn’t just take orders; he orchestrates a dining experience. If there were an Olympic sport for precision beverage refills, Bill would have the gold.
A “Mill-ion” Dollar Smile: His attitude is infectious. Even when the restaurant is packed, he navigates the floor with the grace of a gazelle and the efficiency of a high-speed processor.
Total “Ale-ment” Cure: Whatever mood you walk in with, Bill cures it. He’s got the wit to keep you laughing and the professional chops to ensure your Zingers arrive exactly when you need them most.
The Highest Degree of Service: We aren’t just talking about “service with a smile.” We’re talking about a server who anticipates your needs before you even know you have them. Empty glass? Replaced. Extra napkins? Already there.
The Verdict
Don’t settle for a “regular” night out. If you want to be served to the highest degree, you have to seek out the man, the myth, the legend. The “Bill” of Fare at Miller’s Ale House, Commack
