Our first time at MandC, a wedding gift voucher – it was epic! Unexpectedly arrived on ‘dates and steaks’ night so had a three course meal including calamari, sirloin steak, sticky toffee pudding for my partner and a huge lemon meringue for me. It was all amazing and we will be returning again!
Hannah was our waitress, she was totally lovely and very helpful. Grill chef Nick was clearly a superb cook. A lovely dinner.

Didn’t have a reservation but got seated quickly. Emily was a fantastic server, took care of my gluten allergy and was lovely and chatty despite a busy evening. Great food, had wagyu and a rump both cooked perfectly. Stilton sauce a little bland but the peppercorn was perfect. Thank you!

The food here is delicious, I had the scallops & pork belly to start which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. For main I had the signature dirty burger which again was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, by far one of the best restaurant burgers I’ve ever had; the texture of the patty was spot on. Service (from Susan) was friendly and attentive throughout, we couldn’t ask for more. Feedback leaflet noted that Paul was the grill chef. Thank you!

Not our first time at Miller & Carter and it won’t be our last. We’ve been going for years and haven’t been for a while and Jake always recognises us (which has now become an inside joke). He’s always super friendly and despite it being busy, his service is spot on. Always made sure to check if we needed anything else and made sure we were happy, which we were! The food was incredible and we were very happy leaving with a well deserved food coma

We visited for the Rare Treat Menu. Arrived at 4pm.
We were greeted and seated straight away. Was pretty empty when we arrived.
We had three courses and they were all amazing. Food came out extremely quickly. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the onion loaf and lettuce wedge were really good. Cookie pie was not available for dessert which was a little disappointing but the puds were good anyway.

Food was amazing, really good portion sizes. I’d say it’s slightly pricy, but totally worth it for special occasions or occasional dinners. Our server Danny was such a sweet person, great at reccomendations and constantly checking in but not overly pushy.

We came here for my partner’s birthday. We were served by Jake, who from the outset was incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. He recommended the perfect sauce with steak and wedge etc and helped us pair the correct wine.
He also brought out a complimentary dessert for us to share to celebrate the birthday. Jake overall made this experience one to remember and we will definitely be returning.
The food of course is a little expensive but this is steak of immaculate quality. We are so glad we came!
